Rules:

- Only one movie from any franchise will be allowed into the tournament. I'm very sorry.

- Harry Potter movies won't be in the tournament.

- Movies will be picked based on the number of times they're submitted, and possibly a round of preliminaries depending on how many submissions I get.

Welcome to the Worst Song Tournament!

"Hey doesn't this already exist?" Yes! It did. The runner of the last worst song tournament stepped down and the user currently running their own version didn't get that many responses :( (Please still vote on @worstsongever 's poll!)

I wanted to try to get a bigger voting pool than the second attempt. Please be patient with me this is my first (and hopefully only) tournament, as well as my first time trying to use spreadsheets.

Joke Songs/Songs that seem or are intentionally bad (I.e. Hot Problems by Double Take) are allowed

No OSTs, fandom songs, religious songs/hymns, national anthems, theme songs, or ending songs. An exception will be made for poorly song versions of national anthems (wink wink).

I will generally allow songs that can be considered offensive/problematic (i.e. Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke ) or made by controversial or even hated people to be submitted. However, I will use my discretion for a song that I consider far too offensive

Propaganda for or against a song is allowed to be submitted anytime during the tournament, whether it's through reblogging, tagging, or asking. Overt hatefulness towards an artist or their fan bases will get you blocked (just don't call anyone slurs or tell them to kill themselves)

Please don't submit more than once. I ask this cause I don't know how to limit submissions to one-per-person. (if anyone knows how to do this please explain to me)

If you have any questions about the rules/tournament, please send them to me through asks! Do not submit worst song through the asks

Also not necessarily a rule, but remember the tournament is about the worst song, not the worst or most problematic artist. I probably won't block you if you derail but do understand it gets kind of annoying after a while.

Remember at the end of the day this is not a serious nor objective poll and this is for fun. Music is an art and subjective and thus there is truly no 'worst' song

Submissions will be open for a week and will close by August 31 8:00 PM EST

Bracket Size will be determined by the number of submissions and Round 1 polls will last for a week
