Crowley is like that popular kid in school that everyone wanted to work with and hoped he will remember them. Do you remember me? Do you? What about me? Remember I stood right by you!
He was high rank, he was clever, he was doing the interesting jobs. And he was such a joy.
And then you have Aziraphale who was a cherub but he also liked the pretty Starmaker, and look at him being a determined Angel from the very beginning. The way he was planning that Ball in S2? So determined, just like he was to finally meet the Starmaker who he had a crush on. So he waited and tried to stay close and finally, finally the Starmaker called him over.

And he was everything he imagined. Well, apart from the fact that he had a crush on his stars not on Aziraphale, but hey he could work with that.
Besides, he was kind.
And sweet
And didn’t treat Aziraphale like he was less.
6 thousand years later Aziraphale still looks at him the same.
And Crowley pretends he doesn’t remember any of the Angels, apart from one.
The one who was kind to him back.

crowley must have known that aziraphale was also in love with him, he tidied the bookshop, he was planning on taking him to the Ritz after his confession, he had their song queued in the car these are not acts of someone who wasn't sure what the outcome will be.
which makes it so much more painful that he still confessed his love for aziraphale with tears in his eyes and on the verge of a full blown panic attack, he left saying "don't bother" but he still waited by his car til the elevator doors closed. all because

TBH, if we try to set up universal spoiler tags for GO 2, I think we need to choose the shortest, laziest tags possible while still being specific to episodes.
Something like, "go2e1" or "go2.1."
Sometimes that IS the difference between people choosing to tag and not to tag. People are excited, they're impatient, they're eager, they aren't trying to hurt anyone but they have to get their posts out AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and aren't thinking clearly. They might take the time to write "go2e1" (5 characters). They are less likely, I'm guessing, to write out "good omens 2 episode 1" (22 characters including spaces). People being people and all that. I'm not trying to be judgmental! Just trying to be practical.

Angsty theory:
After being kicked out of his apartment so Shax can move in, Crowley DID ask Aziraphale to take him in. But Mr. You Go Too Fast For Me panicked. He may not said a straightforward NO, but he got visibly uncomfortable and started listing ridiculous excuses why this couldn't work.
Crowley got very angry, especially because he didn't hesitate half a second to invite Aziraphale to stay with him when his bookshop was burnt down. He said some nasty things and they split up on bad terms.
But when Shax tells Crowley that somethings up in the Up, he realizes he'll need Aziraphale's help, and awkwardly goes to him - this leads to the "I'm back" scene and Azi giving him that chilling glance. They talk it out, make up, and are more or less back to normal, except neither mentions cohabitation for the most of the season.
Then, towards the end, Aziraphale himself offers Crowley to move in, because he's finally ready to take their relationship to the next level. It's a hugely emotional moment for both, they're happy and in love and everything's great :)

imagine having to do a review, for a teen magazine, about a tv show you recently watched (for your exam) and writing it about what we do in the shadows.
then, furthermore, quoting colin robinson saying ‘that’s what she said’ to explain how the attempts at teen relatability, in the show, are hilariously embarrassing and that that is, therefore, appropriate and entertaining for a teen audience.
imagine.

i feel like i’ve just had an epiphany. does this theory stand a chance?
nandor began acting quite suspicious at the very end of season 4, right? more or less, after his wedding. aka, the night when he was given 3 more wishes by the djinn. maybe, MAYBE, nandor has already used one, or more, of these wishes.
MAYBE, nandor used one to change himself in some way.
MAYBE, this wish explains why he was acting differently to guillermo (being so aloof and ignorant to him) after that episode.
therefore, explaining the whole freddie fiasco and him reading his books and disconnecting from everyone at the end.
but why did he do this?
was nandor feeling insecure? did nandor think he was caring too much about guillermo and forced himself to stop (or reduce) the amount he cared for him? did nandor realise he saw guillermo as more than just a familiar/bodyguard? consequently, trying to put an end to his feelings so he couldn’t act on them?
hmm…
