My name is Abedmajed, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.

In a single missile strike, we lost over 25 members of our family. They were not just names. They were mothers, daughters, sons, grandparents — people we shared meals with, laughed with, and built dreams with.

The missile hit our family home — the heart of everything we knew.

Among those killed were: 🕊️ My mother 🕊️ My sister 🕊️ My older brother His wife and their three daughters 🕊️ My uncle, his wife, and all their sons and grandchildren

We were left with nothing but rubble and grief. Yet somehow, my brother and I survived. And now, we carry the responsibility of rebuilding what was taken — not just for ourselves, but for our father, our surviving siblings, and the memory of those we lost.

Castlevania Nocturne Headcanon: Tax Collectors knocked on Tera’s door regularly. She was always yelled at or harassed bc she either didn’t have enough money or didn’t have money at all.

Whenever Tera heard the knock, she told Little Maria to go upstairs. Maria would pretend to do this, but she only went halfway up and listened.

Hearing the tax collectors yell at her mother made Maria very angry. Her mother worked very hard to keep food on the table and take care of Maria. And that was doubly true when Richter moved in. Didn’t these people see that? Didn’t that mean anything? Didn’t they care?

This is what started to radicalize Maria. And as she read and learned more about the cruel realities of the world, she became more passionate about the Revolution.

thinking about the overlap between mental and physical health, im always shocked by how even professionals don't seem to get that. like. having a mental health issue that causes you to forget to eat, wallow in bed, not go outside etc is going to cause you a lot of physical symptoms and deficiencies?

like im trying to explain to a doctor that i struggle to walk into town without getting excessively fatigued to the point of being sick, and he goes "but you don't have any physical disabilities" like i know man. but getting out of bed is an uphill battle most days and i haven't seen the sun in a month. it's not hard to put two and two together.

but no i guess mental and physical health are two distinct categories theres no possible way they can feed into eachother. it's not like the brain is an organ or anything. surely not.
