I'm not very good at drawing, but for the past few days I've been thinking that the Carpenter could very well be some kind of humanoid, only looking like a human, while he would have much more features from sea creatures.

It occurred to me that he looked like a goblin shark (oh yeah, I love his nose, especially the shape of it shown in the paper theater scene). I got a lot of headcanons, like he might have gills (that would explain why he's so good underwater; let's forget about Alice's omnipotence for a moment, she's still the boss of Wonderland), fangs, and a couple other cool ones things!
