hii!! umm i pick them from my . beautiful brain mostly i am sorry i cant be more help!! ive just done a lot of colouring over the years and have learnt what looks good! knowing colour theory helps but a lot of it is just feeling your way! for practice its good to try and replicate other artists work to see how they use their colour. i always find watching how oil painters use paint and create a sense of light and tone helps me with my digital painting!

also i dont use preset colour palettes and choose all my colours using the rgb sliders in procreate

i find this helped me massively with my colour choosing bc i feel like you can see all different colours with the same undertone as well have more control over what exact colour you want!!
