Have you got any half or step siblings? Nope, only full blooded siblings

When was the last time you were disappointed? Last night but it was one of those “disappointed but not surprised” type of things ugh

When was the last time you had wet hair? Yesterday

Do you like kids’ movies? Yeah but it depends, mostly kid movies from when I wad a kid. I haven’t seen any new kid movies in the last couple years

Have you ever known someone online and then met them in person? If so, which website did you meet on? I did! I met them on MySpace lol (obviously this was a long time ago!)

Have you ever been to the beach? If so, tell me the name of the beach you last went to and when. I've been to many beaches in the US, Mexico and Bahamas. And I lived in several FL cities that are pretty close to the beach. Most recent was Sanibel Island in May 2022 but wont be back there for a while as it got destroyed by Hurricane Ian :(

When was the last time you were sick and what illness did you have? I had a really bad cold in November

When did you last wash your hair? Yesterday but I’ll be taking a shower here pretty soon

Who did you last speak aloud to and what did you say? My co-worker - I’m off work today and tomorrow but she was calling about an account we were working on and had a question about something that needed to be done today for the client.

Do you know anyone with a serious anger management problem? Not that i know of

Do you have a calendar in your room? Yes, but not like a typical calendar.  I have a calendar in my bullet journal that I update every couple days.  When we’re in our house, I will definitely have a calendar hanging on the wall.

What can you smell right now? Nothing in particular.  Coffee maybe?  I have my cup right next to me.

Have you ever bought a game from a site like Big Fish Games or Shockwave? Yes, from Big Fish! And fun fact - my husband and I actually used to work at Big Fish about 10 years ago! Literally the reason we moved to Seattle in 2012 lol So odd to find the company mentioned in a survey!!

Have you ever had a snow day? Never!!! Even growing up in the Midwest, we never got snow days.  I was always so jealous when other schools nearby had snow days or even delayed but my school was NEVER closed.  

Have you seen all the Lord of the Rings movies? Yes, many times! We want to do a whole all day marathon once we’re in our house - all the Hobbit movies followed by Lord of the Rings.

Do you have an unhealthy obsession with colored furry throw pillows that are different shapes and sizes? No?  I don't care for decorative pillows and wouldn’t typically buy them.  I do have a few but only because they’re very special ones: We have a Meat Pillow (bought from a ComicCon years ago from a Monster Hunter booth)  I bought one for my husband that has ChaCha and Kuyumba from Monster Hunter print on it.  Another one of the Going Merry from One Piece (just its head though), and my mother-in-law MADE me an adorable Owl one for Christmas this year.

How often do you change your underwear? Everyday

Doesn’t it bother you when guys in your family / household leave the toilet seat up so that you wind up almost falling in when you’re sleepy and dazed at 3:00 AM and need to pee? That actually doesn't happen here!

Approximately how many books do you have in your house? There are a TON of books in this house. My Mother-In-Law and I constantly read, although we do not have the same interest in books

Have you ever had to call the cops on someone else before? Yes, a domestic issue at an old apt we used to live at (not us, for a neighbor)

Have you ever been to court for something other than a traffic ticket? Yes, I had a huge issue with one of my roommates not paying the rent/pocketing money from another roommate.  We had to go to court to settle the issue between my roommates and our landlord. Its a long story but the short version is - never move in with someone/sign a contract with someone you don’t know/fully trust.

Don’t you hate it when people suddenly love a celebrity when they die? Meh, don’t really care.

What type of math are you the best at? NONE.  I am HORRIBLE with math and just do not understand numbers at all.

How’s the weather? Much better - like 60′s?  It was in the 40′s a couple days ago which was great for Christmas (I miss the cold/snow for this time of year) but now that the holiday is done, it needs to get back to a normal FL temperature lol

Do you get a lot of tourists in the area where you live? Unfortunately yes.  I live in an extremely tourist-y area AND snowbirds. Wintertime absolutely sucks for traffic, especially on top of my already 1-hr commute

If you make art, do you have a favorite medium or style that you prefer to use or that best helps you express yourself emotionally? I am not creative at ALL but I like journaling a lot.

What was the last new video game you were excited about? Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! But we’ve been really busy (Husband and I play it together) so we haven’t gotten too far into it yet ><

Jon in 2009 through a friend from work.  Then I met my husband at a party (for a different friend group) a few months after that.  Not long after I met my husband, we go to another party together and Jon is there - come to find out they’re in the same collage classes together! Us three and Jon’s wife (who he met in 2012) have been best friends since then

What video games did you play when you were growing up? Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Legend of Dragoon, Tomba!, Chrono Cross, Pokemon, FF7, Dragon Warrior Monsters were my favorites

What's the most stressful job you've ever had? Now >< I work at a financial firm and the time-sensitive paperwork I have to process is super annoying.

Do you have a first aid kit at home? We definitely do, I hope everyone does

How many places have you lived in your life? Too many >< Since 2012 we’ve lived in 3 different states, 4 different apartments and currently live with in-laws until our house is built early next year.  Cant wait to finally be a homeowner and finally have stable place to live!

Are your parents dog or cat people? Is that different or the same as you? They’re both.  We had a dog and cats growing up.  I’m more of a cat person but my husband is extremely allergic to them :/

Are there sounds that bother you on a visceral level? Nails on a chalkboard or SILVERWARE.  I hate the noise of metal on metal.

Are you inside right now? If you're home, what room of the house are you in? Yes, I’m in our bedroom

Did you/will you have coffee or some other form of caffeine today? Too much >< Had coffee this morning, Mt. Dew when we went to lunch earlier today and had a mini mt. dew about an hour ago >< I typically don’t have this much!

When you listen to music with headphones, do you keep the volume low enough to hear surrounding noise faintly, or do you blast it? Somewhat low because I dont’ want to blow out my ears ALTHOUGH its super hard to do that with Rock music as I just wanna blast it and rock out 

Have you ever watched an anime series, start to finish? Oh yeah, a few! There are a lot I need to finish though but most I’m waiting to watch with my husband and we can’t do that comfortably until we have our house :/

How would you feel if your husband didn’t want to wear a wedding ring? My Husband doesn’t wear his currently but that doesn’t bother me. He’s not a jewelry person and fair enough!  I don’t wear my rings all the time either (I do when we go out but not at home) Plus we need to get him a better one anyway, we kinda rushed to get his.

Do you ever get goodnight or good morning texts from people? I text my husband both - always a good morning one (he’s typically sleeping and to also let him know that I got to work safely as I have an hour commute) and sometimes a goodnight one when I can’t go give him a kiss.

This is the first time we're taking vacation together in a long time (all other PTO/vacation days were spent with family or visiting friends) so this time alone is very much needed.

What were the last earrings you wore? Where did you get them?

They were leaf looking ones made out of leather. I borrowed them from my Sister-In-Law when we went to the Renaissance Festival in my homestate when we visited a few months ago. Whenever we go, we always dress up in Medieval attire! Its a lot of fun!

Yes, to be done with work so i can start my 3 day weekend!! Only 5.5 hours to go....

We moved into my in-laws house Oct 2020 and it was supposed to be a short-lived thing until we could buy our own house - and FINALLY they started building it so we'll be moving into it Feb/March 2023. We were not supposed to be living with them this long and it has been super difficult for us BUT we're very thankful because its allowed us to save up for a pretty good down-payment.

Have you ever accidentally sent the wrong smiley? Yes >< thankfully nothing indicating anything too weird but it has happened

Are you more likely to go drive-thru or actually walk in to get fast food? We don’t really get fast food but when we do, it is through the Drive-Thru

Have you ever been on a road trip of more than 10 hours?  Quite a few!  We used to take road trips all the time as a kid around the US when we were on vacation from school.  Most recent was a few years ago.  My Husband and I drove 19 hours from FL to TX for an EXO concert in 2016 (he’s not a fan of them but even went to the concert with me!)

Are you waiting for anything to be delivered right now? Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are supposed to be delivered sometime next week.  I pre-ordered Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life and a few other games but those won’t be delivered until Jan 2023.

Do you want to move out of your current house any time soon? Why or why not? Oh my God so bad.  We’re currently living with my in-laws and we didn’t intend to be here so long - we signed a contract in Aug 2021 to have a house built by April 2022 but with so many delays because of the state of the world, its FINALLY getting built and we should be moving in Feb/March 2023.

Are there a lot of noisy birds around your house? Yes, actually there are but not like song birds these ones just squawk.

Don't you hate having to call banks and insurance companies?  Yes.  I hate calling people in general.  Unfortunately, calling other banks and Annuity companies is part of my job so I have to do it pretty often ugh.

Are there any dints or scratches on your car? Yes ugh.  Last December someone decided to run into my PARKED car in the parking lot of my work building and so I have a huge scrape/dent on the side of my car.

I also have a keychain of the character Tyreal from Heroes of the Storm when we went to BlizzCon in 2014.

Name something in your life that was a blessing in disguise:

Our house construction being delayed multiple times (was supposed to be finished April 2022). We've been so disappointed by how long its taking and the many times its been delayed but looking back, we're so happy it didn't get started until after Hurricane Ian! They started it about 3 weeks ago now and we see progress each weekend we drive by 😊
