My very favourite level 9 barbarian/5 bard, totem of the Duck, the one and only Lionel Chod Gayheart ^^ I spent the last 15 episodes trying to find a design I liked for Taryon Darrington, but five minutes of this guy and I could see him in my head. Eh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
At least I didn't have to angst over the colours much - I basically took my palette "inspiration" from this guy 👇
was reminded about Essek's geometer and I'm here to pitch a reverse Home Alone situation where the Nein break into Essek's towers to get a bunch of cool shit he had to leave without, but first they have to get inside without alerting the Aurora Watch by setting off his forty-seven ridiculous security measures
Knuckle tats that say Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate you since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this micro-instant. For you. Hate. Hate.
Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1
The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.
So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.
So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.
Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.
And the probe is working again.
From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.
