This is so shittily done but this is how the reunion went in my heart

I know SEVERAL afab nonbinary people who, as soon as they came out as nonbinary - immediately began dressing in ridiculous hyper-femme outfits they never would have worn before.  A lot of people see this and say shit like “Theyfab” or say they are only nonbinary for attention.  After all, look how femme they are.

But to me, this makes perfect sense.  When you are forced into the category of “woman” against your will, femininity is a chore.  It’s a job that you have.  As soon as you say no, I’m not a woman, suddenly femininity isn’t your job anymore.  It’s not a requirement.  It’s just a fun hobby you can get into.  Or a little treat sometimes.

Lance: Does anybody else think Keith is kinda… abnormally strong for someone his size and build?

Pidge looking at her screen list: Yeah, sorry Lance, the fact you have noodle arms doesn’t mean Keith is ‘weirdly strong’

*Lance leans to look just past both of their heads*

*Hunk and Shiro trying not to drop the box they have to carry together in the distance*

*Shiro’s end drops and he’s pinned under the box*

Hunk trying to lift the box from him: It can’t end like this!!

Shiro: Leave me, Hunk! Save yourself!

Hunk, teary: I’ll never forget you!!

Shiro wheezing under the box: No… actually Hunk… just go get Allura and Coran to… help…

*Lance leans back to the others who haven’t seen any of this*

Lance: Yeah, nothing strange about Keith…

Lance: Keith, your 12 o’clock?

Keith turning: My what? Lance what’re you-

Keith dropping the box and running: SHIRO?!

Look I just think one of the major differences between Lance and Hunk, at the very least at the beginning of their time on the show, should be that Lance knows how to keep a secret and Hunk absolutely doesn't

Lance is aware of the protective ability of lying and omission and secrets and tries far too hard to play the social game.

Hunk absolutely hates this, he doesn't like having to worry about remembering what is and is not a secret much less keeping ones that he thinks everyone would benefit from knowing and it drives him nuts.

Which is why Hunk has a brilliant system: any time he is told a secret, to get rid of the urge to just constantly be open about it, he fucking sprints to tell Lance immediately.

Lance is the keeper of basically every single person Hunk knows' secrets... this does unfortunately mean that any secret Lance tells Hunk does unfortunately end up being known throughout either the school he attended with Hunk or the castleship immediately so he just keeps his own secrets to himself

Obviously these are things for them both to work on throughout the show fulfil the sort of roles they fulfil later while also having relationships with others for Lance being the spy of the group and Hunk being one of the diplomats of the group where each of these traits in a specific moderation is very important
