What’s up everyone!
It has indeed been awhile but I have not forgotten about this blog ! I have listened to lots of new songs since my last post searching for the perfect one to review. I’m proud to announce that the wait is over !So without further ado, please enjoy this review of Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard.
Arguably Yellowcard’s best track, Ocean Avenue is a fun punk rock hit that is sure to please any crowd. You may not realize it when you first hear it due to its bright vocalist and uplifting tempo, but this song is actually about a breakup. The contrast between its happy musicality and sad lyrics is actually quite interesting ! The lead vocalist sings, “There’s a piece of you that’s here with me. It’s everywhere I go, it’s everything I see.” Even though they are not together anymore, he still misses her. This is quite sad. Another fact you may not know: there’s a violin part in the chorus of this song ! It may be hard pick out from the crowd, but it does a good job at conveying some of the song’s more somber themes in the melody. How awesome ! Overall, the song takes us, the listeners, on a pop rock journey you won’t soon forget, and isn’t that what music is all about?
I hope you enjoyed this review. Be sure to suggest a song for me to review and you can get a shout out on this blog !

Hey everybody!
I have still not received any song requests so this time around I will be reviewing Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard !
This pop punk pop rock pop alternative song is a crowd pleaser for your party ! Although when I played it at my party I made a drunken fool of myself. This song is so happy and upbeat that it just makes you want to dance. Despite this jazzy quality, this song is actually about a heartbreak. Yellowcard sings, "Let your waves crash down and take me away." He is singing about losing his love and desperately wanting to get her back. There is even a violinist in the band to highlight the somber tones in the song. How cool ! It might be sad, but it is still a banger and the best emo rock song of our generation.
Thank you for listening to this song review ! Be sure to submit songs for reviewing and I will give you a shout out on my blog !

Hi everyone!
I hope you all liked my first song review. This week, since I did not receive any song suggestions, I was forsed to go on a long hunt on the internet for just the right song. But the wait is over! The next song I am reviewing is Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard ! Let's rock !
Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard is a fun pop rock alternative punk rock song from the early 2000s. Childhood vibes, am I right ! Although it is an upbeat jam, the song is actually about a lover trying to win back the heart of their ex. When Yellowcard sings, “I can make believe that youre here tonight,” he’s not talking about his buddies at the club ! It is a very heartfelt song and some of his despair is conveyed through the use of his bandmate’s violin. An alternative band with a violin ? No kidding !
Well I hope you enjoyed my second song review. Be sure to submit me some songs so I do not have to go back on the internet again.

Hey everyone,
for my first song review, i am going to be reviewing Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard. It is a throwback bop that has made its way into the favorites list in my heart. Lets get started !
This quirky alternative song from 2004 is sure to please at any party. Yellow cards infectious tune is an ear worm for anyone who enjoys the guitar strings of a classic alternative jam. It even features a violinist! How neat !
Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard’s lyric “I remember the look in your eye when you said that this was goodbye,” is fairly heartbreaking, but the song stays upbeat and playful. Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard tells the story of the narrator who is trying to get the girl that they love back. At the end of the music video, the lead singer of Yellowcard and a girl drive away from the bad guys together in her sweet ride. How cute !
That’s all for this review. Be sure to give some song suggestions and I will shout you out on this blog !
