hey hey! 21+ seeking fellow 21+ writers for something long term and discord server based! i’ve been fixated on the idea of writing some sort of musician ; a popstar in her prime, a struggling artist, band members on the splits, etc. i have a few pitches for plots, so if you’re interested in writing, let me know which one speaks to you! any gender pairings welcome, i tend to write fem muses. poc and lgbt friendly!! <3

first one would involve a torrid affair between bandmates. one, or potentially both parties have partners. but there’s a palpable chemsitry that’s nearly impossible to resist. they both know its wrong, and yet… they just can’t help themselves. between late night songwriting sessions and the little moments in the dressing room and stolen glances onstage — they just might do something they’ll both regret. something that might jeopardize the band, if they’re not careful. sort of daisy jones / fleetwood mac inspired, but would love to spice it up with a variety of settings and character types! also, would love to explore the other band members’ dynamics in interweaving threads down the line, if that’d be of any interest.

the second option would my muse, a popstar in her prime, landing her first big film role starring opposite your muse, an established and respected actor/actress. thinking workplace rivals dynamic to start these two off. both muses having different ideas about professionalism on set and constantly butting heads over any and everything. bonus points if they’re playing lovers, and extra bonus points if they’re pressured into a faux pr relationship to promote the movie.

last option would be exploring what an up and coming artist would be willing to do for fifteen minutes of fame. i’m really looking to delve into the power dynamics between a producer, record label rep, manager, etc — someone who would have major industry influence over my muse, who’s desperate to make it. some things i’d be looking to explore would be an age gap and a clear power struggle (heavy ⚰️🕊️ themes expected). eventually, we can both hash out how we see the relationship progressing. im not necessarily opposed to some fucked up sorta bond coming from it, whether it be born of desperation or something far more twisted.

looking to include smut, but im a sucker for build up more than anything. plot will always take priority. kinks and limits will be discussed in private!

Hello! I, 21+, am itchinggg to use a particularly oc of mine at the moment in any gender pairing! He’s in his early-mid 40s (I’m less inclined to a big age gap. Open to talking about it, but not leaning for it) and is a sullen, bitter homicide detective with a thick accent, terrible nightmares when he manages to sleep, and has a long time issue with substances that still whisper to him every now and then, but is mostly replaced with plenty of cigarettes and prescribed medication he doesn’t take like he should. His closet is full of skeletons and ghosts and he is either the most apathetic, dull man you’ll ever meet or, on the rare day, the most oddly intense guy around. Thinking either a gritty, grim city setting or a heavy, rural southern setting - torn between the two - and very open to setting it a few years back for that Vibe, maybe 80s/90s, but not necessary. I don’t have a particular dynamic in mind so bring any muses my way! Coworkers, the neighbour next door, the waiter who gives him his excessive coffee refills at 4am, whatever!

Think 90s-00s, rural south. Dead end towns and the air feels suffocating. Your muse, f, any age really but I’m imagining early 20s, works as a waitress at this dingy old 24/7 diner. Has her own baggage and a past she’s running from or struggling with, skeletons in her closet, etc. She becomes friendly with a familiar face (my muse, m, late 30s) that comes in regularly at ungodly hours for food or coffee, and the two get closer over the course of days/weeks in that old diner. Maybe they start bumping into each other outside of it as well, maybe mine agrees to help yours out with something, maybe something bad happens one night that has ours helping each other out and leaving together - let’s figure it out together! I’m an advanced lit/novella style writer. I love to write detailed descriptions and delve into a character’s head/emotions as well as surroundings. I compare it to writing a novel together.  I expect to mirror lengths (3 - 5+ paragraphs) but if there are action or dialogue heavy scenes, I tend to do a shorter back and forth to keep the momentum going. 

Searching For: 

A large but legal age gap with older cis-male characters (40 - 50+). I love the gruff and tough men with dark pasts who secretly have a soft heart. I also love grumpy, masculine men being intimidated by sweet but fiery women. My characters tend to be 25 - 35+. No submissive/damsels in distress here. 

I'm not looking for age play. It's a romance between two consenting adults who each act exactly their age and they just happen to be different ages.

Please no passive plotters. Play an equal role in moving the story forward. I love to build off each other’s ideas and create amazing scenes. I’m also more than happy to write side characters of either gender to expand the world.
