Ummmmm, I don’t fully understand why my art was deleted as it only contained slight blood… very fake looking blood may I mention. Look I read the guidelines and I feel this follows it, which I believe said blood within reason. Now it really isn’t that big of a deal, and I understand if it isn’t ok to post this in this community, I just really would like to understand if it was because it was to much on the blood side or something else. Hi! I made a post about an emo kitsune, and it got removed because I didn't draw it (???). I said on there that I would remove it if it wasn't allowed, but I'm confused. I did draw it, I just looked up an oc generator and drew based off of that. Is there something specific I did wrong? I looked through the rules before posting and I thought it would be fine

Apologies! A mod was just confused by your wording. If you posted art you drew, you should be able to repost your work with no issue. Hope that helps.

Starting tomorrow we are actually going to be making a pinned post specifically for connecting people to each other's art fight profiles! So sit tight :D You are always allowed to link character profiles under any posted art of them, but making general text posts that have no accompanying artwork is usually marked off topic.

Hey I know it says for 16, but are you allowed to be in it, just not post anything until your 16? So say a 14 was in the group but didn't make themselves known until 16. Would that still go against the rules?

This is not allowed. Read the "Why 16+?" section in the rule rationale post for further explanation of why. Tl;dr, the community is 16+ so that members are allowed to post about content that may not be appropriate for people that are under 16, and feel more comfortable, knowing that their work is only gonna be seen by older users. Knowing that younger users watch the community is a huge betrayal of trust for anyone who is trying to post about slightly more mature themes, and would make many people, including myself, uncomfortable. while it might be possible that a younger user might slip under our radar if they don't post, if if we find out at any point in the future that you joined before being 16, even if you are 16 by that point, you will be banned.

I am here to message I am tired of the poor moderation in the community

My post got unfairly taken down even though I tagged my name.

And also why is gacha and bases banned? My friend got her posts removed too because she used bases and gacha which should be allowed because gacha is art and base is basically a reference.

This question was already answered when you DMed it to me. Your tag is our mistake, the mod did not see it because of all the other tags. As I said in the DM, posts in communities do not show up in Tumblr tags, so it is not necessary to add these "#originalcharacter" type of tags, you will notice most people do not add them. Since this is a community for original characters, everything posted is already "art" "artwork" "oc art", and the tags are unnecessary. The only things we need tagged in the community are your username, and if you wish to tag genre so people can look for it within the community, things like "creepycore" are fine. Fewer tags helps us make fewer moderation mistakes.

As for your friend, we do not allow Gacha/bases because this is a community for intermediate artists, and because all art must be self-made. We believe that intermediate artists should be able to ideate and compose artworks without the use of Gacha or bases, and even if you disagree with us, we do not allow these for the sake of intellectual property, which is the same reason we disallow tracing.

Erm, there's a rule about like, engaging with the community regularly and im wondering how long you can like, be off until I violate the rule because in summer there's gonna be a week where im on and a week without my phone etc it's a pattern so im hoping I won't get banned for this because I won't be active after the first week of summer

Don't worry, you are slightly misinterpreting the rule! No one who joins is *forced* to participate or forced to post or anything like that--what that rule is actually about is that when you do post/if you are an active poster, you should be engaging with the other members of the community on a genuine level; we may remove users who are only in here to advertise and clearly have no desire to uplift other artists. But being a lurker is never an issue! TL;DR the rule is actually about being friendly & wanting to meet people rather than coming into the community to reblog-farm.

Hello! If you have the chance, the best thing to do would be to edit the post's tags to contain both the old and new username tags to cover the transition, and then you can switch to the new one going forward.

nope, thats totally fine! its also fine if your channel is monetized, it would only be an issue if the video was behind a paywall or members only
