the creature on his shoulder stumbled into him one day in the Deep Roads. Mayhew's not certain what it is (maybe something to do with the titans, maybe a spirit that got turned around) and he doesn't care. It's a curious little thing, and it can be his companion as long as it wishes.

I watched this video from kyokusei and I cannot recommend it enough. (and this truly goes to every single type of real artist)

sharing my art has been, for a long time now, one of the biggest reasons I keep creating. it's about connection, knowing there are people out there who genuinely share the same passion. it helps me feel less alone, more seen

and yet, I still struggle so much. every step of the way I'm facing small battles with myself, wondering if it's even worth sharing, being unsure to show it to the small circle of people I talk to. because I'm afraid of rejection

I wish I could fully express everything I feel about this, but maybe if I keep finding the motivation to share more of my art, I can also start sharing more of what brings me real happiness. and really feel what kyokusei’s video was meant to convey
