Dorothea Lange was an American documentary photographer and photojournalist known for her images that captured the struggles and realities of the Great Depression. One of her most famous photographs is "Migrant Mother" (1936), which depicts a poverty-stricken woman with her children.
The photograph was taken in Nipomo, California in February 1936 during a period of extreme poverty and hardship. The woman, Florence Owens Thompson, was one of many migrant workers who had fled the Dust Bowl in search of work in California. Lange captured Thompson's strength and resilience in the face of such adversity.
What strikes me about Lange's work is her ability to capture the raw emotion and humanity of her subjects. Her photographs are not merely documents of a historical event, but rather they evoke a sense of empathy and connection to those who lived through it.

Steve McCurry is a celebrated American photojournalist who has captured some of the most poignant and striking images of the last few decades. Born in 1950 in Pennsylvania, McCurry began his career as a freelance photographer in the 1970s, and quickly gained a reputation for his ability to capture the essence of the human condition through his images.
One of McCurry's most famous photographs is "Afghan Girl," taken in 1984 in a refugee camp on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. The image, which shows a young girl with piercing green eyes and a red headscarf, has become an iconic symbol of the plight of Afghan refugees, and has been widely reproduced and recognized around the world.
My own response to McCurry's work is one of awe and admiration. I am struck by the way he is able to capture the essence of his subjects, whether they are people, landscapes, or cultural events. His images are often powerful and emotive, and convey a sense of the deep humanity and resilience of the people he photographs.

Annie Leibovitz is a renowned American portrait photographer whose work has captured some of the most iconic images of our time. One of her most famous works is the portrait of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, taken in December 1980, just hours before Lennon was tragically assassinated. The photograph, which features Lennon naked and embracing Ono, has become one of the most recognizable images of the couple and has been widely reproduced.
The photograph was taken in the couple's apartment in New York City, and features a naked John Lennon curled up around Yoko Ono, who is wearing a simple black blouse. The image is shot in black and white, with dramatic contrast and intense lighting that highlights the couple's raw emotions. The composition is powerful, with Lennon's body almost completely covering Ono's, creating a sense of intimacy and protection.
Personally, I find this photograph incredibly powerful and moving. It captures the vulnerability and tenderness of the couple's relationship, as well as their commitment to each other as partners and creative collaborators. The image also speaks to the tragedy of Lennon's untimely death, which makes it all the more poignant and meaningful.

who is the artist banksy. He a pseudonymous street artist, political activist, and filmmaker who is believed to have been born in Bristol, England in the late 1970s or early 1980s. He is known for his anonymous and often controversial street art, which often combines political and social commentary with striking imagery. Banksy's work has appeared in cities around the world, including London, New York, Paris, and Gaza, and has been the subject of numerous exhibitions, books, and documentaries. Despite his widespread popularity, Banksy has managed to maintain his anonymity, and his true identity remains a mystery to the general public.
His work is an inspiration. and the fact that he is anonymous makes it even better. The way he makes still art and then is able to take a phenomenal picture of that work is amazing.

Joel-peter Witkin, he is a photographer born in 1939 and is currently alive. he currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
His photo style is very weird. as well as unsettling, but i do find it very interesting. The way he uses dead body's and makes them into different object is very fascinating. As well as being very odd.
this makes me want to have an unsettling way of photography but not as unsettling as his.
