Edge has never seen fireworks before. They startle him at first—the only previous experiences he’d had with explosions were bad—but eventually it sinks in that the fireworks are harmless.

Day 6 of @ocweek: Setting: Place to Seek Solace

This is actually basically a scene from my WIP with this character that I wrote for a Flash Fiction Friday: Rage Against the Void

The city of Nalindi’s Palm has a LOT of parks—they love their greenery—but this particular one, a smaller one nearing the farm district, is the one Edge ends up running off to in that scene.

Finishing off @ocweek with a couple of sketches for days I missed. Favourite food is a milk based mutton stew with black pudding and barley bread that he had on his wedding day. I drew an elf version for the species swap but I think I should have drawn his anthro version instead </3 (it's a jackal)

i wanted to do something for oc week, but i really needed to finish one of my art fight refs, so i compromised and made a ref sheet using one of the prompts. :) this was supposed to be for "circus", because rocky is a human cannonball (in addition to being a superhero under his circus alias), but it took a bit longer than i was expecting... oh well. at least i finished it this week.

Worm notes: FORMALWEAR!!!! Rex looks goddamn good in a suit and I’m like 🥴 bout it. Vic made the playlist ofc. sorry about his bolo tie and cowboy boots he is a Florida man

Probably the only happy formal occasion Rex has ever worn a suit in. They both look fantastic in formalwear.

Edge’s friend Vidya (left) is an artificer—a metalweaver, at that. She was the first person Edge met in this world, and was the one who patched him up. They become good friends over the course of the story, and he hangs out in her workshop a lot.

day 6 of @ocweek, species swap! now, i figured i should at least do something for mermay as well, so i decided since i drew wesker as a mermaid with human crunch last year, that this year i should swap the species and draw mermaid crunch with human wesker :) yippee!! wahoo!!

Day 6: Species Swap

Worm notes: yaaaay lore dumpy yaaaay so Vic is, of course, a wolf shifter just like Rex, but specifically a maned wolf :3 he is legs as fuck :3 Chanel boots animal :3 and this is what he would’ve looked like if he didn’t get chrome after his injury :’) no tattoos which is WILD. still gotta have the toof bling tho. speaking of which if you’ll excuse me i need several minutes alone with chromeRex and HIS teef, I love how shifter Vic looks like your average durfer dude. I half expect him to just pick up a surfboard and rush to catch waves. Meanwhile Rex is on a well deserved break between his shifts at Private Security R Us.
