i realise a lot of fandoms nowadays use names using little combos character motifs or themes for ship names instead of portmanteaus which is cute (albeit a little frustrating if its too vague. I once knew a ship called pink lemonade guys how am I supposed to search 4 that) but also makes me want 2 think of little symbolic relationship names for muy ocs...
#can someone tell me how to come up with them#I wanna go through all of my oc tags and replace every instance of a portmanteau or character+character tag with a little symbolic name#but that would involve thinking of them grrrrrr........#I'm just uncomfortable tagging certain dynamics with portmanteaus it feels too romantical.#and character+character has the issue for me of which character goes first which bothers no one else but me#I usually just put the focus of the meme or whatever first but that gets frustrating I want all instances of this dynamic together#and I think I stopped doing portmanteus for non romantic relationships when I started tagging things with arjun+dev#cuz I didn't want people to think they were romantic but it FUCKED UP MY ENTIRE SYSTEM#whatevar first world problems that also only exist in my brain#my wordes#ocposting
