New Revolutionary Girl Utena Manga Chapter’s Story, Date Revealed

The March 2018 issue of Shogakukan’s Monthly Flowers magazine will publish the new chapter of Be-PaPas and Chiho Saitō’s Revolutionary Girl Utena (Shoujo Kakumei Utena) manga on January 27.

The new “Utsukushiki Toge” (Beautiful Thorn) chapter is set in Ohtori Academy after the finale of the main manga, and it will depict the noble fencer Juri Arisugawa. The anime character Shiori will also appear in the chapter.

“Shōjo Kakumei Utena After the Revolution,” the first new chapter in two decades, ran in the September issue of Flowers in July. The story takes place at Ohtori Academy after the end of the original manga’s final chapter, when a certain person visits the school.
