i’m begging for woman to start being more blunt and angry when talking to obnoxious misogynistic men. stop trying to give them the benefit of the doubt when they say or do something that harms woman (watching porn, saying misogynistic slurs, etc). enough with ten page essays that basically say “hey king what you said is kind of offensive so i’m here to educate you” and start going “can you shut the fuck up actually? what the hell is wrong with you?” babying them does nothing for us

"I hate how society doesn't treat men right"
"I hate how people ignore mental illness when its men"
hello? women are still getting raped??? women are still being tortured and abused??? why do we care about the abusers????hello??? women cannot come out with their own trauma because they're afraid men will see them as vulnerable and target them??? hello??? can we care about the actual victims??? Why do we care about the mundane "problems" of men when women are suffering severely in any way imaginable???

Anyway, I’ve recently become radicalized after having a conversation with a male who said that women who are domestically abused should “recognize the part they played in it,” then went on to talk about the dangers of allowing trans people to exist and how disgusting it is that the LGBTQ community has “all these parades” and “a whole month” dedicated to their “sick, twisted ways,” and how as a white man he’s supposed to “just accept anything and everything or he will face discrimination,” and I just…

The reason people think being a stay-at-home parent or spouse is easier than having a “real job” is because for men, it often is.
I know women who become the breadwinners while their men are temporarily out of work and staying home. Instead of taking over the chores “non-working” women would be expected to do, they play their video games or golf or whatever while the woman still has to come home and not only cook and clean per usual, but also contend with an even bigger mess due to this helpless man-child being left to his own devices and unable to throw away his own trash or wipe jelly off the counter. (Why is she also often the one sprucing up his resume and making sure he has clean clothes for his interviews?)
I know women who tailor their work schedule around their man’s to ensure someone will always be home to look after their child. When the woman is home & “off work”, she does. When the man is home, the kids go to grandma’s because hubbs needs his rest or his time with the guys.
I know women pulling 60+ hour weeks making more money than their man-spouse. The old-fashioned thinking of “he works longer hours/he makes more money so of course it’s the woman’s job to manage the household” does not apply when the gender roles are reversed. Jerry who makes $17 an hour working 32 hours a week will not take any of the household burden off his wife and will instead sit at home, smoke pot, and jerk it to random women on the internet in between watching videos about the “feminist agenda” and “straight cis white male oppression.”
Working men, on the other hand, love to point out the moment their stay-at-home wives sit down to relax and conveniently stash that information away as evidence that “all she does is sit at home and play on her phone.”
Also, these are the same people who wonder why women never have the physical or mental energy for three minutes of mediocre sex.

People be like “crazy cat lady” this, “crazy cat lady” that, but the meanest cat I’ve ever met is still nicer than the nicest man I’ve ever met.

LPT don’t use dark humor during therapy intakes. One time an assistant was asking me the standard questions and when they asked if I was a danger to myself and others, I said “only when I drive,” and they got super concerned about me committing vehicular homicide.
