Re-doing this silly guy's cyborg design because the anatomy in my older drawings were kinda wack.

Making my headcanon design for Melv more realistic is funny to me, because if we were actually going to be realistic (which is already a stretch in the CU universe), the likelihood of Melvinborg surviving his accident would have been LOW.

Melvin is the third wheel to TWO marriages, he is absolutely the one George and Harold go to cry on his shoulder when they have fights with their significant other. Emotional support single man with little to not relationship experience, much less good advice, <3 Just imagine him awkwardly patting Harold while he laments about how his husband hasn’t talked to him all morning and he’s going to DIE.

Notes on evil Harold:

For those who don't know, in the PPU, George and Harold switch roles as writer & artist. And since Harold is mean in this universe, he can and will verbally annihilate you and the next five generation of descendants in your bloodline completely unprompted. And he'll do it eloquently, which is worse.

He has the attitude of all three Mean Girls mashed into one gangly body of a man.

His parents never got divorced. For the better or for the worst, take that as you will.

Giving Melvin friends but also making him the shortest and the angriest out of the gang. He is friends with George and Harold and he hates it so much, he is entrenched in denial about it. His only two besties are each fathers of two and very much married, OF COURSE he's going to be mom/dad-friended to death.

I NEED them all to just hang out with one another, timeline and canon be damned. Older!George and Harold with Younger!George and Harold would be such menaces, you cannot convince me otherwise. One pair of them are just slightly more responsible about stuff. The Melvins are just stuck being dragged around by them unwillingly. They've been integrated into the friend group, they cannot escape.

Does anyone remember that ONE Captain Underpants book where George and Harold messed with fucking time travel and met their future selves who were married with kids and had successful careers as comic book creators or was that a fever dream?

I like to imagine that in the canon universe the new Dog Man movie was initially drafted and submitted by George and Harold as a concept, thinking it wouldn’t be accepted but wanting to give it a shot anyways.
