Jessica Hess’s “Less is More” at Hashimoto Contemporary.

Opening on Thursday, August 31st, 2017 at Hashimoto Contemporary in San Francisco, California is artist Jessica Hess’s solo exhibition of brilliant new work entitled “Less is More.”

“Less Is More” expands Hess’s ongoing survey of derelict spaces void of human presence.  The vivid paintings transport the viewer to locations around the country, such as the Heidelberg project in Detroit or the rural backroads of New England.  Hess’s new work develops the narrative set forth by her previous exhibition “More Is More” by detailing the continuous change in these vacated structures.  Graffiti saturated buildings have been buffed over, abandoned homes are boarded up and repainted.  These subdued moments provoke contemplation of the cyclical nature of our built environments.

“Less is More” will be on view until September 23rd, 2017.

What a V Route could mean...

Cheritz’s new route is listed as ‘Another Story’. If this is really our V route, it seems likely it is also in an alternate timeline. To me, the picture shown seems to be a younger version of V, so perhaps we meet and romance him early on. It makes the most sense because he’s already established with Rika in the current story, so this will allow us to forge a friendship/relationship with him before he meets and falls for her.

BUT IF THAT IS THE CASE.

The RFA will not exist, at least not under Rika’s leadership. What if we and V create a new foundation together? And, hopefully, we can still acquire the old RFA members into the new organization via alternative means.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?

V’s route doesn’t necessarily mean happiness for JUST V!

We could SAVE Saeran and Saeyoung, just like V and Rika did in the beginning. But we would save them without selfish motives. Saeran would NEVER be tortured and suffer in the cult. Saeyoung would get to stick with his brother AS HE PROMISED.

THE CHOI TWINS COULD BE HEALTHY AND HAPPY. TOGETHER.
