Adila

Adila (she/her) is a Skykid who was born in the Daylight Prairie late into the Season of Revival. She doesn’t have a particular job, rather tagging along with her older brother or one of her other friends most of the time on their runs through the realms.

The skykid who would soon be named Adila fell into the Daylight Prairie. Considering how many Skykids are there at any given time, and how most stars fall in Isle of Dawn, she definitely did not go unnoticed. The first to reach her was a cat-hooded Skykid of.. very small stature.

This Skykid planned to take care of Adila by themselves, but he soon found that Adila’s core was very weak- which would cause issues in the Hidden Forest, the Wasteland, and make going to Eden very risky. They couldn’t possibly take this moth there themselves without risking her permanent death. So after a few days of thinking, he went to an old friend of his, someone who would be able to balance out the moth’s feeble core with his own extremely bright one- Adair. Adair took the moth in, gave her the name Adila, and she became one of his moths.

Later on, Adila would meet Ensi, Mirri, and her closer friends Kat, August and Swallowtail. Despite the wide season gap between Adila and the others, she gets on well with them because of the surprising maturity she has for her age.

About that.

There are some things that were and are different about this Skykid. For one, she was already acting like an older Skykid in her “butterfly” stage. She just kind of.. skipped the awkward points of a Skykid’s growth after the moth stage. And sometimes, things feel.. familiar to Adila. Like an odd sense of deja vu. There are no memories to pull to the front of her mind, at least none she knows of, but those bird statues feel familiar. So do those constellation tables in the Prairie. Shouldn’t there be something there? Why is there nothing there?

Why do I think something should be there?

Adila is the default height.

Due to her weaker core, she doesn’t glow as brightly. She also has lower stamina and strength than average, and has difficulty casting magic.

Adila likes to experiment with dyes, and with some help from the Radiance Guide, dyed her own mask.

Jellyfish seem to flock to her. She doesn’t know why, but she doesn’t mind that much.

She can be scathing when her temper has been set off. It’s always the ones that seem more docile, isn’t it..

making character designs in-between comms sdflkdjfkls- Their name is Ovineva! A goat/sheep (shoat??) that's skilled in climbing steep terrain and shepherding the wolves in the land they're from! They're also somewhat connected to Wind Paths!

The Elder of a long forgotten realm.

Lethe with their hair down, dancing. Not something they do much, I think, they're usually pretty serious and busy. Being in charge of the Messengers is a lot of work! Especially when most of them have a habit of wandering off after finishing their delivery instead of going back to the Wind Isles and checking in with Lethe. Luckily, Coyote had gotten really good at finding the other Messengers when Lethe decides they've been gone too long. Between Coyote and Rome helping and my Narrator occasionally dropping in to force them to take a break, Lethe can have moments like this where they can relax.

Something I have been working on for the past year, and have been waiting for Aurora's Encore concert to show to yall!!

This is definitely the biggest figurine ive ever made, standing about 22 inches tall on her stand, and the little sky kid in some photos is made from a thumbtack, so its only about an inch tall 😃 im so glad its finished that dress was genuinely taking me so long to do
