Pietro's arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her close against him. He pulled back a bit as the feathers of her mask tickled his nose. It was a different sensation, that was for sure. He gave a chuckle and rested his forehead against hers, staring at her with a crooked little smile. He cupped her cheek with a hand, just beaming at her and completely at ease with her near him.

Odette bit her bottom lip, looking up into his eyes. Such beautiful blues against the dark mask. "You have many factors that are more than redeeming," she replied in a gentle voice. At the kiss, she returned it in kind, her arms slipping fully around his neck.

"Sometimes called devilishly handsome," Pietro told her but inwardly winced at that. He wouldn't show it, though. He gave her a charming smile. "You know, I have a fiancee as well. Looks very much like you and so very, very sweet." He gave her a softer smile. "And I love her very very much."

Odette shook her head. "I don't think that's the term I would use. Perhaps more angelic." With a tilt of her head, she responded to his smile in kind with her own, more reserved smile. "Do you? Well, she must be one very lucky woman." Her right hand rose to rest against the back of his neck. "I'm sure she loves you just as much."

Pietro gave a chuckle, pulling her slightly closer. "I know your fiancee very, very well," he joked. "Almost as if he were me. And I assure you, he would not be upset with this at all." He grinned at her, mischief sparkling still.

"I don't know..." she started slowly, then shrugged her shoulders and smiled. "But I suppose it couldn't hurt." Both hands rested atop his shoulders as she began to sway with him. "You are pretty handsome."

Pietro gave her a cocky little grin, pulling her closer and started to sway to the music a bit. Blue eyes looked down at her with adoration and a teasing glint to them. "Oh, just a handsome stranger, you could say," he said in a warm purr. "Who spotted the most beautiful woman at this ball and could not help himself~"

Odette chuckled softly to herself. Her eyes looked about for a moment, feigning hesitance. "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I'm already taken," she looked back up to him, eyes sparkling with mirth. "I have a fiance, you see, and I do not think he would like it if I was to dance with some stranger."

Pietro had spotted her while he was standing towards the back, watching people. He gave a smile and walked up to her with an easy glide, footfalls echoing loudly to him as he crossed the marble floors. He wore a mask on his face, a cloak lying loosely upon his shoulders. He took her hand in his, placing a gentle kiss on her knuckles. "Powitanie, Kwiat," he said in a smooth tone.

Odette stood just a bit away from the crowd herself, hands clasped together as she watched behind her own white mask. At the sound of footsteps coming close towards her, she turned her head to see the masked gentleman, and smiled. She brushed a stray curl behind her ear, one finger running over a feather attached to her mask, as he kissed her knuckles.

"Well, hello there, sir," she replied, biting back an even bigger smile. "Now who might you be?"
