On a sweltering Thursday summer evening, I hosted an event in my 80 sqm apartment in Berlin. Five artists performed in my bedroom and living room, and the guests were allowed to move between the two spaces to experience the performances that  were happening concurrently.

One for Ghost was an electro acoustic duo that formed with my friend, producer Giovanni Civitenga. We met in German class in 2011 and started seriously making music together two years later, meeting every week in his fourth floor apartment to make pasta and music. We were inspired by musique concrete, loops and ran our samples through randomising software to create an element of chance. Gio and I performed a 60 minute soundscape with viola and electronics in the living room to an audience of 40 people. Later, he utilised excerpts from this live show which came to feature in our first One for Ghost recordings.
