The medic lets out a small laugh, clearly joking as finger scans the menu at random. With a small spin she places the tip of her finger on something and orders it despite not knowing what it actually is. He’ll have to eat it and they can share in the experience of the mixed bag of food roulette. Hopefully she’ll win out with something delicious.

The younger woman pushes her, back to the wall and completely vulnerable in a brief display of weakness before she regains herself and holds firm again. 

Staff has left fingers for the floor and her gun is just out of reach from the position she’s in – she’ll have to manoeuvre however subtly she could.

Amélie knew that Angela had had a rough day yesterday. She could always tell, but Angela often made it easier by saying ‘I had a rough day’.

So when Amélie awoke, with Angela snuggled up against her, she set her plan in motion. Steadily warming hands moved up Angela’s stomach, brushing against long healed scars as they moved upwards.

“Wake up, chérie.” Amélie purred, keeping everything soft and gentle for now. She took personal pride in keeping Angela’s mood up.

Violet eyes narrow for a just a moment, the hacker contemplating every move she needs to take in her head step by step. Her mind is moving at a million miles per second but finally she just heaves a great sigh and drops her arm, returning her gun to the holster on her back. It didn’t matter what plan she made at this point, her body was barely holding up where it was, there was no way she’d be able to run. Even if she could she’d bleed out long before making it to the extraction point.  As soon as both hands are free, she uses one to steady herself against the ground while the other holds her wound, a poor attempt to stop the bleeding that’s already made her weak. “Alright, doc, but hurry.. I’m getting really tired over here.” She said with a slight smile. Sitting down now, she leans against the wall and can feel her vision blurring, her eyes fluttering shut as she tries to stay awake.  “Still think you should just leave me. Bet your friends would love that.” 

─── ⊱  ☤  ⊰ ─── COMPLIANCE, in the end, is good and she’s relieved that the other woman chose the wisest path to go down. Her condition isn’t good, Angela could easily overpower her in a physical fight as she gives the signs of near to unconsciousness. Despite the smile she gives, the comment is worrying. Exhaustion generally meant death when it came to blood loss. So she does hurry regardless of her feelings on being told to rush her duty comes first and foremost. 

Staff is pointed toward her, releasing a steady stream of healing nanites to ease her pain and heal her wounds. Her free hand moves -- fingers at her neck first to check pulse then to her forehead to check for fever and attempt to ease her.

        ❝ I suppose they would. I, on the other hand, am not anyone but me. I am capable of making my own decisions in war and we...do not always see eye to eye on every matter. ❞

She still has her reservations and resentments and yet she stays by them in hopes that she’ll be able to save more than she could already. Sombra is no innocent, but she would help where she was needed and take the proper precautions with what to do after. She’ll have to figure that one out as she goes.

        ❝ And when I’m done patching you up? Will you disappear? My technology is sound but if you don’t vanish, I would appreciate a follow up. Just to make sure. ❞

     The good doctor’s resilience was legendary, McCree knew that to worry over her would be wasted energy, and yet, with their fellow members so dwindled and Overwatch only having just reassembled, it was hard not to extend that courtesy to the medic he had known for so long.

     "Sure ‘nough, doc, but-“ He poured himself a small glass of whiskey. ”-How about some bed rest? It’d do you a world o’ good.“ And keep her quarantined if it was some pesky, contagious bug. ”Ah can send someone by with tea and honey, iffen it’s to yer likin’?“

─── ⊱  ☤  ⊰ ─── AN eyebrow is raised -- in both question and disbelief -- at his words. If there was a time for her to get bed rest, it was not now when she was just feeling the beginning of what could be a cold. True, this made her a hypocrite and she was fine with it as she had duties to attend to that weighed heavier than her own life. Still, she had been through worse.

        ❝ I don’t see how that would help. I have important duties, Jesse. You know that. ❞

She smiles at him, eyes glancing at his actions. 

        ❝ I could be bribed into it. If you’re getting at something specifically. But it won’t put me out of commission. You? I’d guess...minutes? ❞

─── ⊱  ☤  ⊰ ─── FIELD ready and too battered by life already to have any general fear outside of the usual risk of death. It isn’t the first time she finds herself alone in the field, and she’s more than capable of carrying herself and skirting away from that ever looming chance of death that seemed to follow upon heels like a ghost yet never reaching fully. She enjoys the thought of being aware of every surrounding and yet she’s caught off by the subtle noise of a heavy step from the shadows and she turns -- staff up, pointed but more in defence than attack.

        ❝  You look worse than usual. Are you hurt? ❞

It’s certainly a question and yet she holds a tone of slight joking dismay to it. Concern is strongly present, despite being the enemy.

As she ventured further ahead into enemy territory, things got louder and much more dangerous than expected. They weren’t supposed to be here, Overwatch wasn’t scheduled to appear here for weeks. Guess it was probably a trap to lure them in- either way, they’d still get what they needed and be on their way. After a moment she heard a deep voice in the comms saying mission successful, time to go.  She smirked and in her distraction, turned around to a bullet piercing her stright through her side. A slew of Spanish profanities exited her mouth as she disappeared from sight, running from the room and back towards the exit point.  As she reappears she’d faced with another, the angelic-like doctor of the Overwatch group, and it causes her to draw her gun instantly, though the action also makes her flinch and fall to one knee. With her free hand she is holding her side as the blood soaks her jacket.  “Wouldn’t it be easier just to kill me, ángel?” 

─── ⊱  ☤  ⊰ ─── GUN faces her and she stands her ground. She understands the risk and the danger but she has a certain faith that her pacifism can win out now. If not, she is trained and able to fight back -- last resorts.

        ❝ You are regretfully correct. Though violence is not always the answer, nor will it ever be my solution. ❞

The woman extends a hand to her so that she could steady herself -- partly because it would subtly make her choose between holding her gun or her wound -- the other hand holding up her staff as a sign that she truly comes in peace in this moment.

        ❝ Now, will you let me heal you? I do not want to force it upon someone who is so unwilling. ❞

But if push came to shove and death was knocking, she absolutely will without even an utterance of consent -- whether the participant wanted life or not.

It’s less of a threat and more of an advisory. Though the medic holds no smile she holds no hostility as of yet. There’s something much more important at hand than a fight.
