codename chroma the witch of light!!!!!!!!!!!! i love her!!!!!!!!! i wasnt going to design them because he was supposed to be a mysterious figure that cursed neve but i thought wouldnt it be funny if they were just some guy. and so she was. she can control light and color waves, and keeps chips of concentrated spectra she stole was gifted by the goddess. each chip represents an element, and when touched by mortals, completely absorb into their soul. he uses a paintbrush as a wand because its cute!!!!!!!

so far in this story i have a large city with mutliple districts namrd after the colors CMYK+ white. its kind of like a hunger games thing where all of the districts represent some type of class or ideals of the area…. or something

anyway most of the story takes place with Neve (the dark blue one) seeking revenge for whoever cursed him (“cursed” with Cryokenesis and douchebaggery) with his long time friend Satin (the light yellow one) who tries to help him by putting up with his moping around and lies

because hes been cursed eith the cryokenisis he has no resistance to the cold his body generates. Luckily satin was born with pyrokenisis shes honed her entire life and can use very preciceley

she tries really hard to not fall into the hot headed angry firebender trope by being as gentle and she can force herself to be, but deep down Satin is an incredibly jealous and bitter girl and Neve often takes advantage of this by lying about things people have said about her in order to make her angry, and generate enough heat for him to feel less frozen. satin knows hes using her but shes so codependent on him she never says anything, as long as he stays around and doesnt talk or think about anyone else :3 (she killss him in a blind fit of rage in a battle later)

after neve dies hes picked up by Kacey, an a lister celebrity and unbeatable champion of (insert vauge tourney here). kacey has no real physical strength but her mind control ability is more than enough to hold her place at the top. anyway turns out neve is not dead but veryyyy close. kacey nurses him back to health with a healthy dose of intense hypnosis and mind control and in a few months hes an ice king- level mad minion of kacey’s, used as a fearless mercenary to take out her competition.

the light blue ones named Cas and hes kaceys one ans only real friend, because she hypnotized him tk think that. cas grew up in a special facility specifically built to create a human bioweapon for vauge the greater good and protection of the city. initially it went well and he wqs incredibly popular with the public after his debut due to his natural charm( and surprising people skills despite growing up in a lab with other homunculi) but during an accident that destroyed the facility, he lost the ability to tap into whatever power was installed into his system. desperate to keep his fame and the incident under wraps he hide sunder the protection of kacey. at first it was a genuine friendship, until kacey started “correcting” cas to act in a way she deemed more fitting for him via hypnosis. it took him a really long time to realize whag was happening but by then it was tooooo late :( now he and neve(‘s corpse) are best hypnotized friends wow ok im tired gn
