Personally, I think that the first one is a bit unnatural depending on the relationship between the characters (plus could be confusing for readers), and the second one can seem heavily repetitive in the book and would break immersion for me, and the others are fine but it's not really what I'd do.

There's definitely some characters who would introduce themselves by their pronouns, but it does seem unnatural that *all* characters would do it. You could do things like

- have them correct other people on their pronouns if they get misgendered (or have someone else correct the misgendering for them)

- mention a social media profile they have where their pronouns listed, and point out the pronouns when writing (or something similar, like a tattoo or a phone background or jewelry or something)

- have the person wear a pronoun pin which has their pronouns on it (or just have it somewhere in their room if they don't want to wear it, example being on a vest hanging in the closet, and you see it while they choose their outfit for the day)

- mainly use one set of pronouns per paragraph/section so that the sentences are clear in who is being talked about. That way, readers are able to infer that the character uses multiple pronouns

Example: a character who uses she/they would be referred to by she/her in one section, and they/them in another. Readers could make a connection between Character A being referred to by she/her in one section and they/them in another to come to the conclusion that they go by she/they pronouns) Dialogue is an exemption to this I'd say, depending on how the characters talk.

- Speaking of dialogue, maybe have some characters use primarily one set when referring to someone, and others primarily use a different set when referring to them. As long as it's clear you're talking about the character, it should be fine I feel.

Example: Character B usually refers to Character A by she/her, while Character C refers to Character A by they/them usually. Character D could use both sets interchangeably to refer to Character A with.

I originally wanted to post this zine, which is a beginner-friendly introduction to what "intersex" means, but tumblr did that funny little thing where the post was invisible from dashboard, presumably because it was deemed nsfw. Sorry for using real words on my educational post instead of censoring myself I suppose.

So yeah. Instead you get this zine, which I made because I am pissed off that every single time I look up "intersex" anywhere I run into misconceptions that could be corrected by reading the wikipedia page on intersex people. Because I fucking guess "making a post about a group of people and actually looking up said group of people" is too much to ask.

And because this is the "piss on the poor" website: yes, I am well aware that most people are genuinely ignorant and don't mean any ill. Yes, I know it must feel really bad to see a post about a random person yelling at you about an issue you weren't aware of until now. This isn't about you. This is about me. This is for me, because every six months I make the blandest most sanded down "btw remember that intersex people exist :]" post and I feel like I'm yelling into the uncaring void. I am tired. I am so very tired of being the "friendly educational blogger who is understanding of everyone's circumstances." I'm more than that. I should be allowed to be more than that.
