It's because you called lex a man when they have said repeatedly they are not, and then your response looking like you correlating pronouns and gender (it seemed like you said that because he uses he/him that it's ok to call them a man) and that sentiment, whether you meant it or not, is transphobic. I'm sure you didn't mean it that way or maybe didn't realize what lex was referring to, but lex is right on that count.

I do have specialized facilities, as well as equipment, but I understand Gotham is where you live and I'm quite happy to set up a suitable laboratory in your ...fine city.

I will happily provide my current information on the Kryptonian nervous system. I also intend to provide you with a suitable testing subject, and have that in the works - I'm working with a professional to acquire an adult specimen.

Ah. Various experiments with Kryptonite have hovered somewhere between a thought experiment and a pet project for quite a long while now- I could not pass up the opportunity to research such a peculiar specimen. Silver, indeed.

I would imagine that you have more specialized facilities for mineral analysis, though I will quite predictably require specialized equipment and chemicals for testing- any information on the Kryptonian nervous system would, of course, be helpful.
