I don't know if you're meaning towards the characters, so I'm gonna answer this. If this is meant for the characters, resend it.

This is an AU of where instead of Black Mesa using humans as Guards, they used an alien race. The B.Calhouns, which is actually a keysmash from a frustrated scientist.

Speaking of Scientists, They are not good. None of the Calhouns are here willingly. They were hatched here and raised here, their instincts muddled to think that the entire Black Mesa facility and employees are their hives.

And Calhouns are extremely protective over their hives.

Gordon himself here isn't a perfect man either, he's definitely not a bad scientist- as in this au, he isn't a scientist at all. He isn't a Calhoun either. I'm going to leave his backstory here, but hes definitely going to appear at somepoint.

Anyway, in this AU you will be following 5 Calhouns: #29-A (Blueshift (The Original Barney:tm:)) #118-A (Bold) #169-B (Bard) #192-B (Bracing) #247-C (Bubbles)

All of them having their own personalities and all of them reacting to the fall of their 'hive' in their own ways.

if we are starting out, how much is the story changing? How should we askers deal with plot points we may already know? How should we the askers and you the creator organically 'invent' their names we already know?

The story shouldn’t be changing too much, it should follow the same plot points, but depending on the askers words it might change a bit.

I, or rather the G-Man, will be keeping any more revealing asks of the future at bay or masked, and for the names, I believe the calhouns would have Nicknames for eachother.

While some preferred their numbers *coughBoldcough*, a bunch of them would have nicknames.

Doing it this way should make it easier for you all to organically give them their names. I’m

It's been a while, huh?

So folks! It's been about.. what, two, three years since I last posted here?

Well, I actually never forgot about this. I just got frustrated with how I could show my story. Don't get me wrong, I don't regret commissioning those icons, just for me, they were very limited.

So, what I've been doing for the past two years was working on my own art skills and on the Calhoun race.

I'm going to open the ask box, and it's going to permanently stay open. You can send any ask about/for the Calhouns if you want.

I have a plan, and there will probably be a 'reset' for the story. Aka we're going to the beguinning again.

But until then- here is the core five again. I'll probably fiddling with them until my fully happy though. So don't be surprised if I change these a bit. *coughParticularlyTheHairStylescough*
