“Well I definitely shoulda turned around when it was still light out” Harley could kick herself for not listening to her instincts the first 9 times they’d told her to get the *#%+ outta there. Something had drawn her into the woods. Something she couldn’t explain. She’d always been the curious type, but this was something else. And now? Shit was getting even worse, believe it or not.

“Well what the hell are you S’posed ta be?” Harley winced as the hulking creature loomed above her, appearing out of the fog that billowed about the wood. “I....I was just going” She pleaded aloud to the giant Shrek looking thing. Reaching for he bat, she wondered just how much good it would do against such an unfairly sized foe.

“Hey, look lady- I got the same rights as anybody else in this joint. Ya can’t just assume I’m commitin’ some kinda crime just cause- huh?”

Harley was taken off guard. She didn’t uhh, get the joke at first. It wasn’t often that others, especially SUPER people made jokes at HER. 

“Oh!” and Harley began to laugh. and laugh. and laugh. Probably way longer than would make any feel comfotable.

“I was just walkin home from the pet store.” She left out the part where she had STRONGLY threatened the store owner, and let all the animals go free, because puppy mills are wrong, and SOMEONE had to liberate em!

               ❝ We’re not up to anything I should know about , are we ?? ❞ Kara - or rather , Supergirl - lands gently , taking a few steps forward. A rather exhausting night leaves her looking visibly drained , a rub of the eye as she spots the individual a few feet away.  ❝ Can’t exactly make you out in this kind of lighting. ❞ She waits for a few seconds. ❝ - That’s a JOKE. I can. Seeing in the dark’s a talent. But , uh … yeah. What are we doing here ?? ❞

- Harley is not surprised at all by the “brother eye” watching over. She’s never been a huge fan of Batman, and this feels exactly like something he’d do. Basically, she is super annoyed it’s there- but it’s not SUPER high on her list of priorities

- Harley is mostly good, but has poor impulse control and sometimes takes two steps forward and three steps back. Don’t judge her! She’s doing her best!

- Harley is one hundred percent done with the Joker and only has eyes for one verdant queen of toxins

- She hordes pets, and plants. If you come to visit you’ll need to take some Claritin, probably

‘ i was in the neighborhood and heard a very interesting call on the police scan … ’ the tall man entered the candy shop in blue uniform. however, he was not here for the rescue – evidently by how he locked the glass door and casually flipped the sign to CLOSED behind him. removing the police hat, the riddler smiled deviously at the bubbly gotham rogue and her victim.

‘ —- caucasian female in her twenties. blonde pig tails dyed blue and pink. witness reported suspicious activities, possibly armed. ’ he turned off the ( stolen ) police scanner on his belt. ‘ i thought it might be you, harley. ’

At first, Harley was about to be REAL annoyed. A copper? coming to spoil all her fun? What a way to ruin a perfectly good candy heist. On further inspection though....it wasn’t no copper.

“Eddie?” Harley’s attention was no longer on the store owner, but to his dismay she hadn’t been so distracted that she’d lower her weapon. 

“Well ain’t ya a sight for sore eyes, huh?” She laughed. “I didn’t know ya had a sweet tooth. If you want in on he goods, you’ll have to grab yer own bag. I called dibs on all the gummy worms already though!”

The police scanner alerted her that there may be some real boys in blue on their way shortly. “Sounds like we betta hurry. Here, you keep an eye on the candy man here while I look for gumdrops.” She handed Ed her pistol and skipped off to the back corner of the store.
