              She gave a shrug of her shoulders, her focus changing back to the other before her. If he was having troubles understanding the concept of portals, then explaining to him she was from a whole different world would be even more mind boggling. So she decided to leave that little fact out.

                            "Yeah, I am."

              “ Yeah. Y’know, the floating islands here and                  there with the sky cities on ‘em? Wow—must                  have been a pretty faraway island you grew                  up on to not know that, huh? “           He couldn’t even imagine such a place. Lost in attempting           to achieve just that, the blond similarly found himself gazing           across the Bazaar, the myriad of peoples and races mingling           in the crowded streets. Baanga bickered over prices at the           guild stall, while a Seeq eyes prospects ripe for stealing, and           a Hume attempted rather fruitlessly to converse with a Viera.           Pretty normal day—

              “ Hey, you’re not here alone are you? “

              Upon receiving this information, she already began her way across the sand. A hand was raised to motion Sora to follow, shouting, "Come on, then, slowpoke!"     She was always eager to visit other worlds, to see the places Sora visited during their seperation. She had seen some cool ones herself, but she was positive Sora probably saw more.

                            "I bet I can run faster than you!"     Doubtful, really. But whatever it took to get his slowpoke self moving.

          Her enthusiasm was              more than endearing.

Encouraged the smile of his own to  m i m i c  the Princess's— stretched with her radiance as cheeks adorned a tinge of red  at the sight of it all; totally embarrassing if she took notice, but they’d  l a u g h  it off eventually.

Though, laughter came sooner than anticipated; the playful blow to the limb was enough to fuel a chuckle.

“Heh, okay, hold your horses, Kairi!— I parked the Gummi Ship on the other side of the island where the raft used t’be!”

              "Sky city? No, like an actual island."     She wasn't quite sure what he was talking about, but clearly this world was very different from the others. She looked about as confused as he probably felt, blue eyes glancing around at her surroundings. Well, it was a new world, might as well enjoy and explore it.

                            "Is there any other kind?"     she questioned.

                  “ ‘Destiny Island?’ Like, an actual island,                      or a sky city maybe? Oh—people fall off                      those all the time, and end up places they                      don’t know. “                ‘Course, the one guy he met that had fallen off a                sky city had amnesia from the fall. How a person                could fall from a floating giant rock and still be in                one piece—albeit bruised, nearly drowned, and without                memory—was beyond him.                   “ So—portal. Alright. Let’s say I’m buying that—                     what kind of portal? “

              "Maybe. . . you could tell me where I am?"

                   ”So then what can I do for you?”

So here I am. A blog that’s less than a week old, making a follow forever at 100+ followers. It’s amazing, really. I wasn’t expecting a positive feedback, to be honest. I wasn’t all that confident in roleplaying as Kairi, especially considering the fact that it had been forever since I played the games. But you guys seem to stick with me, so that’s a good sign, right? So without further ado, here is the list of total cuties!

The sole reason why I decided to make this blog on such a whim like I did. I love your writing, and your Sora. I mean it when I say it’s like watching Sora come to life in your writing, and his voice in your words. You seem to capture him very well, and you are one of my most favorite blogs here on tumblr. You’re an absolutely sweetie, and the nicest ever. Keep on doing you, darling.

              "Yeah. . . we lost our world at one point. But we got it back."     She remembered little of that, because of certain circumstances. But she did remember at one point it was lost, and ending back up on the beach of the island in the end.

                            "We're in Twilight Town."

        “I take it you knew someone          this happened to before?”  

He pauses for a moment, the creature shifting on him. 

"Where exactly are we?"

              "Right, right. . . sorry. Again."

"Try not letting it happen again. It makes me uncomfortable…"

              She gave a small smile, keeping her hand on his shoulder for a moment longer before she moved it, letting it rest back in her lap with her other hand.

              " ---- A dream catcher!"     She suddenly exclaimed.     "You could get a dream catcher. They say when you hang them in your room, they're supposed to catch bad dreams in the threads, and only let good dreams go through."

"I’ll be fine, don’t worry." Although the touch startled him some, it was only Kairi, so he simply patted her hand and leaned forward once more. "Thanks, though. I really don’t like being out of control with this, honestly. It freaks me out to some extent. If only there was some way to sleep without dreaming. Wouldn’t that be nice?"

He did give pause, laughing bitterly under his breath. “And to think, at one point I said that I was what nightmares feared… funny how it got turned the other way around.”

              "Destiny Island?"     She spoke, eyebrows raising slightly as he described what a chocobo was. She hadn't seen one yet, but it sounded. . . kinda cute.

              "No, not a gate crystal. Just a portal."     She knew she wasn't helping her case at all, some people didn't understand or know the concept of new worlds, or were clueless to such things. She didn't want to confused the other anymore than what she probably has.

                   “ What’s a chocobo? It’s—y’know,                      those giant yellow bird things people                      ride around on? Whoa, where are you from? "                 How far outta town did someone have to be                 to not know what a chocobo was? They were                 everywhere.                     “ Portal? So, like, a gate crystal? I thought                      you had to have been someplace before                      you could teleport there. “

              Yep, definitely a new world.     "Karakura Town? I've never heard of it."

              The sudden appearance startled her, hands raising up in defense. She only caught him by the corner of her eye, but she could've sworn he formed from shadows. Blue eyes stared directly at him, weary of his alliance.

                            "Who are you?"

The man does not so much as step out of the darkness as it becomes him. It had been an age since this world, so dark and forgotten by time, had seen another being… let alone one that brought such brilliance to it’s corners. Only his brother seemed a fitting comparison, but this light was different. Warm, almost.
