one of the very first few things you learn as you grow up is that your father is an important man. that, and that he was exceptionally cruel, especially with his punishments towards you. you also learn that not every father was like that, contrary to what you believed. you had never met your mother.. well, you did, you just bear no memories of it. she is but an old portrait to you, you sometimes gaze at. by the time you are five, you are already on step - mother number three and you quickly learn she is not your mother and would never want you to get that idea. she is not exactly warm to her own child either, but you are. your siblings are your responsibility and although you are far from responsible or sensible, you are there for them when it matters.

durmstrang is your heaven, an escape from home and also the place you find your friends for life or what you excell at -- the dark arts. it would be easy for you to slip into the role of a bully effortlessly, so blunt and eager to fight - but you have your principles, no matter how contradictory or hard to figure out they might be. you want it all - social life, parties, studies, quidditch, clubs, for your blood is boiling and you're always on the move, despite harsh northern winters.

people burnout, but not you - far too stubborn to ever consider giving up. when scandal shakes your family and your father's influence, wealth and money can no longer save him and he ends up imprisoned, you keep your head up and step up for your family. some choices were hard and not well - received by all, such as freezing out your step - mother completely, but as you always thought, you knew best. someone had to make the harsh decisions around here, no?

he sees the tensions rising and upcoming war in england. although personally never caring for blood purity ideals, he has spent his entire life around purebloods. there is still an engrained arrogance, especially towards muggles. the longer vlad stays, the longer he feels like he will inevitably have to pick a side.

skilled but reckless fighter and duelist. doesn't believe in dodging hits and he has the scars to show for it. he is impulsive af in general and quick to lose his temper.

honest and blunt ( also simply can't lie for shit ), but it is most often not in a malicious manner. a lot nicer than he seems, he just has resting " i hate everyone " face.
