"Make her wait and then send her straight out the door," An amused smile plays across her lips and she finally looks up. "Please don't slam any doors in my face. Or I'd be forced to fight you."

"Right? I was just trying to be polite, they say chivalry is dead. Well, I see why. I didn't expect a thank you but sure didn't expect that kind of reaction." Mickey sighed, shaking his head. "Oh, I totally will. She better not come to my bar, because I won't be serving her, I will make her wait for a while."

"I'd say that I'm happy to help but I try not to make it a habit to lie." And, okay, maybe she's being a bit ruder than she needs to be so she heaves a sigh. "It's been a long week."

"while i don't disagree that people are strange. i don't think there are many who would just randomly say things like that." violet shrugged her shoulders. then again, maybe she was wrong. she didn't know, entirely. "either way, i appreciate the help."

"That's good. I'm too gorgeous to die young, don't you think?" It would seem like she was trying to joke back if her face wasn't entirely serious. "I guess I should be more careful next time so that we don't even need to worry about that happening."

"Yeah, everyone has to know their limits." This new life was mundane but Law did have to have some gratitude that his patients in this world actually knew when to seek out treatment. He was too used to treating knuckleheads who only accepted help after they had passed out from exhaustion or dire injuries. "But you'll live," he tried to joke but he knew how awkward he sounded.

"Of course I want to!" And he seems genuinely upset by the fact that she would think he wouldn't want to. "I'm not afraid of getting in trouble"

"you sure you want to?" ainsley asked with a small grin. "because if i can't find them---i'm going to find a way in myself and i wouldn't want you to get in trouble." at the very least she would hope he would run.

The immediate confusion is clear once more on Zhuzhi's face. "They all remember, why wouldn't they remember? That doesn't make any sense." Though he's not entirely sure why he was arguing when he was literally supposed to be dead.

Zhuzhi is silent for awhile as he seems to think about what she's saying and how he feels about it before giving a decisive nod. "I don't have memories from before in DC but... I did have a life before i woke up here. Somewhere completely different from here."

"I'm Zhuzhi Lang" He offers her another warm smile before tilting his head curiously. "How do you know if something is expensive or not?"

She laughs. "Just pretend it never happened." She then looks at the price. "Oh I am so glad I didn't break that. That's expensive." She smiles at the man. "Hi! I'm Bo Peep."

"I don't want it to be just good," Zhuzhi speaks, maybe more than just a little bit subtle. "I want it to be great for you." And he's fully determined now.

"If you would like to, that is." Shi Mei doesn't want to force the other too. He can learn more about him from other ways. "I'd like that too then. I am sure whatever happens, will be good." He has faith

Zhuzhi's eyes widen in surprise, blinking rapidly like that will make that answer make more sense ( it doesn't ). "I do not like to question your judgement but are you sure that was a wise decision?"

"i- that is very unnecessary, zhuzhi-lang." he forgot for a moment that zhuzhi-lang was unaware of the changed nature of his relationship with luo binghe. "your cousin and i are married now, this master needs protection from binghe least of all."

"I grew up in the country so it's definitely been a tough transition but I really wanted to start my own shop." She planned on moving home as soon as everything was settled here. "How long have you been here then?"

"I'm not sure if I'm liking DC," she let out with a sigh. Gracie was relatively new to the city, having come from a time that was far different than her new reality. The adjustment was difficult, but she was lucky to have family to help her adjust to it all. "Do you like it?"

"Not everyone was raised with manners apparently," She had been glaring after the man too, until her phone is held out to her and she's turning to accept it from him - quickly looking it over for any damage. They sit there in silence until the couple finally storms out and Meg can't help but laugh softly, giving a shake of her head. "If I was in a relationship where we were always arguing like that I don't think I'd want to be in one at all."

Aurora stops speaking as soon as she hears Meg. She's definitely nosey and absolutely wants to know what's happening. She'd thought maybe the argument was over but now she listened closely to the couple.

"Imagine if someone that they were writing about had picked it up. I think I would pay real money to see their reaction" It was hard to feel too guilty about reading the journal when there was nothing too horrible inside. "I'm surprised they dont have their name anywhere in it."

the grin on faye's lips grew even more as she read every line on the page. "ooooh, whoever wrote this needs to get it published. i love messy romance drama." she admitted as she couldn't put it down. "but also don't just leave this around for everyone to pick up and read. what a silly goose this person is."

"One of my friends and his older sister are here," Lucas says with a small nod. He's grateful despite the fact that him and Mike were almost always bickering. "Are your friends here?"

Abe nods. He didn't have that experience. Colby was a small place, and the worst thing he knew of happening was his death. "I'm sorry to hear that. Are any of your friends here now?"
