are you going to help remy shuffle the deck and play your hand at a full house?
Listen, judging by his prior performances, he always prematurely blows up his cards so I really donât know what to tell you, sugah.

you save one and abandon the other. who are they?
âWell, thatâs hard. But I like to believe Iâd always save the weaker person and leave behind those who can save themselves. But I know there are people who Iâd never abandon, no matter the situation.â

A SMIRK FELL ACROSS THE SPYâS FACE at the thought of throwing Colossus at the dome. She imagined it would send him bouncing back like a giant rubber ball. âIâm not sure how much Colossus would enjoy that plan of action,â she noted with amusement. âWeâll find one way or another out of here. Men like Kang eventually begin to think theyâre unstoppable and thatâs exactly when they fuck up. Weâll be there when he slips up. I think the key to the whole thing is getting his time traveling device. Heâs nothing but an angry child without that thing.â
âIâm sure if we ask politely, he would at least consider it.â Anna noted, her smile turning into a look of concentration while listening to the woman. âDonât get me wrong, I absolutely agree with you but that sounds too easy. This thing, the puzzle of places and timelines he created, itâs huge. It isnât only a matter of stoppinâ it but also undoinâ it.â

âAt this point I think a ouija board might offer more answers than Google,â sighed Karen. She took in the surroundings and they appeared to be normal enough. âDo you think this is still New York City?â she asked. âDefinitely smells like New York, but itâs hard to tell these days where the boundaries of one region begin and another end.â She supposed as long as she stayed within the limits of New York City she could at least maintain some sense of normality.
âI suppose this place is messy enough for it to be whatever the heck we want it to be.â Placing her hands on her hips, Anna took in a deep breath and nodded her head. âYouâre right about the odour though. Fumes, Hot-Dogs and some other stench. Lovely.â Glancing at the blonde from the corner of her eyes, she offered a little smile. âAny other favorite places beside the park? We could go look for them.â

â  iâll admit , mirrors  A R E  one of my greatest weaknesses â second only to your gorgeous smile , â he winked. not even their current circumstances could prevent him from being a flirt. not that he could help it much in the first place ( nor did he want to ) . he stepped closer. he wanted to touch her, but the uncertainty in what her reaction would be prevented him from doing so. he respected her decision, after all. he HATED it, but he would respect it. still, he stepped in her space. his usual smirk falling into place as he peered down at her, â  if dis be fateâs sense of humor , iâm thinkinâ i like it . but come on now, chĂšre , you can be honest with remy . you was hopinâ iâd be here werenât ya ?  â
She couldnât help the small smile, even though she rolled his eyes at him. No matter how messy the world around them got, she could always count on Remy to somehow put her mind at ease. âJoin the club, Sugah.â Playing along, she held on to their little reality where their banter was one of her favorite things. However, as soon as he got too close for comfort, Anna inhaled sharply, extended a gloved hand in front of her to re-establish her own space - and his own safety. âPerhaps but that ainât reason enough for you to be standinâ this close.â She knew she became guarded even though she tried to keep her tone light. Theyâve been through this enough, surely heâd have to understand eventually. The closer he got, the harder it was for her to keep him at a distance and they both knew distance was the only option. âAnd donât flatter yourself just yet, havinâ you here means you canât blow up the rest of the universe out of frustration.â

THERE WAS A PART OF HIM that had hoped that she wouldnât be here. trapped in this damn dome without an escape route. that she was on the outside, working with the others to try and get them all out. but then there was that other partâ that part that felt nothing but relief when the sight of her familiar white streaked hair came into his view. he shouldâve probably felt bad about that. but the only thought on his mind as he approached her at the edge of the dome was that there was no one else heâd rather be trapped in here with. something he was damn sure not going to be letting her in on. â rogue , â he announced his approach. his tone nothing but light and airy despite their predicament or that uncomfortable feeling that settled in his chest whenever she was near, â fancy meetinâ you here , chĂšre . lookinâ like fate has gone and tossed us together once again, yes ? must be tryinâ to tell us somethinâ. â
It wasnât hearing her name which sent a gentle shiver down her spine but much rather the recognition of the voice she learned to know by heart. A weak twitch tugged at the corners of her lips into a brief smile before she turned to face the man. âIf fate is doing anything, itâs trying to show off its wicked sense of humor, donât you think?â Crossing her arms in front of her chest, she sighed. Looking at him right then fell perfectly in line with the definition of bittersweet - his presence was what she wanted the most but also feared the most. Either way, she couldnât fight the relief that spread through her body as the realization hit her that if he was here, it meant he couldnât get lost anywhere else and she could finally stop worrying. "Glad to see youâve made it here with the rest of us. I heard rumors you got stuck in some other dimension âcause you found a mirror anâ couldnât stop starinâ. If itâs anythinâ to you, I was somewhat skeptical.â She teased as a small smirk showed up on her face, her tone mirroring his.

Billy was alone. Again. Sat in the centre of a rooftop in clothes that were given to him by a relief worker, he was taking a moment to wallow in the absurdity of his current situation. So far heâd found no-one that he recognised, and he was starting to worry that he wouldnât find anyone from his part of the universe. He looked to the sky and let out a long sigh. âI just canât catch a break.â He whispered to himself as he stood up. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end, and he swiftly turned to face the door that led up to the roof. Something was there, just out of sight. âHello? Is someone there?â
Anna stumbled onto the roof, feeling claustrophobic. The damned dome above her didnât have much of an effect on her until everybody started pointing it out. And suddenly it loomed over her that they were caged like animals. Climbing the stairs, she jumped two steps at a time, ripping the door open once she reached it. Breathing in the air, she didnât notice the company until she heard him. Peeking up, Anna glanced in Billy's direction. âThat would be me. Am I interruptinâ?â

KURT was lying on his back , hanging upside down with a book dangling in front of his face by way of TAIL. he was mumbling verses under his breath in german when the door creaked open , frightening him into teleporation. with a BAMF! he disappeared , book clattering on the floor , as he reappeared directly behind the intruder , â you should not sneak up on me. â it had hardly been sneaking really , but he was EMBARRASSED by his reaction and if his skin wasnât such a dark shade of blue a blush may have been NOTICEABLE.Â
Anna was startled, to say the least, when she opened a door and was greeted with a falling book that landed by her feet. However, it was nothing compared to the adrenaline kick when she heard a voice directly behind her. Jumping aside, she spun around and faced Kurt, staring at him wide-eyed. âRight back at you, pal!â Placing her hands on her hips, she let out a sigh followed by a shaky chuckle. âYou scared the heavens outta me. Maybe we should invest in little bells and tie âem to our ankles. Weâd be no hazard to another no more.â

To be fair, I donât think weâre anywhere specific right now. You could call this Narnia and no one would be able to fight you on that.â

âI miss the good old days when villains woud just create weird plans and doomsday machines which were a lot easier to stop than they would have expected.â Johnny chuckled a bit as he took a sip of his coffee while his gaze stayed focused on the dome which was currently surrounding the city. âThese days we get to have villains who kidnap whole cities just because they can do weird crap like that.â
âThose were the days, eh? Who wouldâve thought weâd miss these?â Her gaze followed his and found the dome surrounding them. If there was ever a time to feel like a plastic figurine in a snowglobe, right then was definitely fitting. âSo, out of pure curiosity, did you try burning it yet?â

NATASHA STARED AT THE DOME with a look of contempt. She did not know how it came to be; no one did for that matterâexcept maybe Kang and he wasnât willing to give up any answers. âIâve tried punching it. Iâve tried shooting at it. And Iâve tried throwing a Molotov cocktail. Not even a crack,â she sighed as she knocked on the side of the dome. âThere has got to be some way out of here.â
âMolotov, eh? âS shame I missed that.â She was about to knock on the dome just like Natasha did but on second thought, who knows what the hell this thing was made of and what would happen if Rogue touched it. âWe could try throwing colossus against it. Heâs worth, at least, two Molotov cocktails.â She stated, only half-jokingly. As a matter of fact, she was still rather calm. In the past, Anna found herself in far worse situations and she wasnât going to panic right away. The certainty that something bad would crash down onto them made her preserve said panic.

Karen sighed as she looked around in frustration. She was going the right way, but somehow ended up in the wrong location. âHey, do you know the way to Central Park?â she asked the person next to her. âGoogle Maps isnât exactly helpful in alternate alien dimensions or whatever the hell this is.â
âwell    â Anna spun on the heels of her boots and glanced around, her eyes scanning her surroundings for anything that might give away the new right direction. âI hate to admit it but Iâm at a loss. Normally Iâd say straight ahead but that ainât correct.â Hiding her hands in the pockets of her jacket, she offered a small smile. âYouâd think with how much money Google has, theyâd add an alternative dimension feature. Poor business move.â
