This baby, like thousands of others in Gaza, is fighting to survive without access to basic nutrition. My own son, Qais, is one of them. His tiny body is weakening by the hour. Why is Gaza facing a deadly famine?

The family of seven-year-old Omar still has not raised enough funds to complete Omar's skin graft operation. There have been no donations for 3 days. They remain trapped near Jabaliya, under ongoing lOF attacks. Omar still needs to complete his skin graft, Khalil was injured and almost killed when IOF-US forces attacked an “aid” distribution site, their father remains in poor condition, and the family also urgently needs funds to buy food.

They are currently in a state of starvation more severe than at any other point in the invasion. They are extremely weak and feeling despondent right now. Their lives are depending on your support.

Maha and her two children Joan (7) and Khalil (5) are displaced in north Gaza. They are still in besieged Beit Lahiya, and need funds for transportation out of the area ($500 usd) and rent for shelter (about $2,000 usd). They also need to purchase Joan's medication, which is $500 usd, and $200 usd to buy a bag of flour that is not soiled by insects and/or mold.
