Behold the twins!!!!

This is for my sotm Grandpa Moon and family au/headcannon thing XD

These are the twins! yes baby Sun and Moon! they run around the Costume Manor Having fun and causing mischeif.

Mini Moon is a little shy but don't be fooled he's full of mischeif and likes silently causing trouble. If the Manor goes quiet you just know he's up to something.

Lil Sun is a little more boisterous and always ready for some shenanigans.

They get up to alsorts of trouble especially with Geema Jackie. The only person who can calm them down is Geepa Moon when he can catch them that is.

Their parents (BuffMoon and LadySun from moon.exe) Are often busy at work whether that's out for lease or working at fall fest, so these too run circles around their Grandparents 24/7 but they love to spoil their Grandkids so it's a win win.

Lady Sun is (DCA) Sun and Moon's Mother. She is married to Buff Moon.

Lady Sun works as a stall attendant often selling masks or trinkets at events like fall fest, she also does close up magic and games like the shell (cup and ball) game/trick. She's often out on lease and working all most all the time so the Twins often get left with their Grandparents but liturally no one is complaining about because they love their Geema and Geepa and they love their grandkids.

Lady Sun is sweet and caring but can come off as cold before you get to know her. She's very soft spoken and calm. She has no idea how to handle the kids and they have her wrapped around their little fingers for the most part, but they know when not to cross the line.

So Geema Jackie and Geepa Moon! They spend their days looking after their Grandkids while Buff Moon and Lady Sun the twins' parents work, either out on lease or if it's that time of year at fall fest.

Buff Moon is an entertainment animatronic who specialises in stunts and acrobats but you might catch him jugging at the odd party, while Lady Sun tends stalls, sometimes selling things like masks othertimes performing close up magic or hosting games like the shell game.

The Twins are very mischievous and love to cause trouble, Geema is not the best example often encouraging their shenanigans while Geepa Moon has to be the voice of reason... if he can catch them that is XD

I deceded to go biblically accurate with this guy and oh boy was that a mistake.

Here are the headcannons. This is Buff Moon (the statue from Moon.exe in sotm) made into an animatronic. He is the horrifying love child of Jackie and Grandpa moon (sotm sleepy moon) I'm sorry, genuinley sorry.

He is married to Lady Sun (also from Moon.exe) and they have a set of twins (the dca sun and moon) who are about 5 years old.

He is an entertainment Animatronic who is leased out as well as put to work at fall fest. He specialisies in stunts and acrobatics (which is why he is so freakishly buff, no explination on why he so creepy tho.)

Despite his appearance he's relatively good with kids including his own, when he's not at work that is, which is surprisingly often.

Secret of the Mimic is such a good game.

Does it feel like new guys in charge of FNAF giving up on the labyrinthine lore the franchise has amassed over the years and just inventing their own, more stream lined guys to focus on instead? Yes, it does.

Good though. Murray household is the first time this franchise has made me care about its characters as characters, not as solutions to mystery math puzzles, if that makes sense. And I may not have been posting at 11 yo, but I was tacitly lurking in the fandom since 2015, I know my animatronics.

For a fucking Fife Nights At Freddie's game, in 2025, to have my cynical 21 yo ass sit here in the dead of night at 3 am, glued to the screen, watching a playthrough on YouTube, genuinely immersed in the narrative like I was 10 years ago watching fnaf 3 theories.

That's actually kind of magical man, ngl

I love the way this game balances slapstick with genuine horror and manages to carve itself a unique personality in the intersection of the two, neighboring Courage the cowardly dog. And this corporate horror of business ruining lives and families, a workshop as a haunting spector of the past, both victim and victimizer, mounting crippling debt presented the same way a lesser horror would talks about some black site science experiment. It's such a perfectly seamless fit for THE mascot horror franchise!

As for how it fits into FNAF canon. I like the reaffirmation that Emily and Afton were a generational tag team in the entertainment world. The way William haunts the narrative from such distance and yet is so deeply involved in it. At this point in the timeline it is years until he starts killing children I'm pretty sure, but he already is very much The Devil of this universe. Makes you think about how his other victims' stories were as likely tragic and personal as The Mimic.

And Mimic itself. Dude. FNAF Mimic might be my favorite Horror villain now. Duking it out with Minotaur of the House of Leaves in my internal rankings, fr. It's actually shocking how good this game is.

If I have to find something to complain about it would be that SoTM is a fairly conventional waker horror, although made incredibly well (other then it's optimization), and I wonder if Steelwool could do something interesting with FNAF's legacy of minimalistic, "analog" gameplay. But that's just me being pretentious. Game's good.
