it’s  the  way  she  walks  past  the  celestials  that  makes  her  remain  even  more  vigilant  .  “  okay  listen  ,  i  don’t  now  who  said  that  this  –––  ”  gestures  the  space  robots  .  “  is  an  art  exhibit  because  it’s  CREEPY  as  hell  .  ”

    yeah, roy could absolutely understand that. no matter how many times he walked around the robots, or how many times he cracked one open to figure something out, it never got any less creepier. of course they’d end up in a weird and creepy situation. just his luck. “trust me, they don’t get any less creepy. especially at night. just... standing there. it’s weird.”

    ah, yes, a lot of that came down to money, didn’t it?? roy should know, he’d grown up with oliver queen for fucks sake. needless to say, it always felt freeing knowing that he could handle himself perfectly well without any of that money from his so-called father figure, thank you very much. “knowing you, brown, i’m sure you’ll be able to figure it out in absolutely no time.” oh, well if that didn’t catch his interest. “well, you going to share with the classroom?? i’m dying on the edge of my seat right now.” blinking, he pondered the thought for a moment before finally giving a little shrug. “i mean, yeah -- sure. why the fuck not. someone here should appreciate my genius.”

   “well, the little angel is finally down for the night.” getting lian to sleep had been more of an ordeal than normal, considering the arrival of those weird space robots. it hardly surprised him that she was worried and questioning everyting that was happening, especially knowing things had been more than weird as of late. sighing heavily, roy moved to collapse onto the couch, brushing a hand through red locks. he was doing his best to keep everything together -- keep himself focused and moving rather than think too much about what was happening. that would likely just send him down the rabbit hole at this point in time. “and contrary to popular belief, that is not me actually trying to seduce you right now.” roy flashes dick a teasing smile. “unless that’s on the table.” // @brdwctcher​

      needless to say, roy was just about as confused as steph was about this entire ordeal. all this talk about shield, and thanos, and whatever the fuck else was being spoken about. paired with these weird robots, and the archer was ready to start cracking open some answers. “i’m going to assume they want us to nancy drew it out ourselves. clearly whatever, or whoever, brought us back around to this time either did it on purpose or it’s all just one big cluster fuck.” his money was on this all being on purpose. it made the most sense. “i’m probably going to end up busting one of these things open and trying to figure out what they are. the engineer in me is dying to crack one of them open.”

( tyler blackburn. he/him. male. 26. dc. )  would you look at roy harper roaming around the avenger’s tower! they’re supposedly arsenal and work with the titans, identifying as a hero. they are around here often, so i wonder what’s got them here today. it’s been said that they’ve been acting off for three weeks, so maybe it has to do with the tower. lets just hope the new york times doesn’t have much to say about them in the future.

How are you feeling? Physically and mentally.

  “oh, you know, as fine as one can be or whatever. this whole thing is really weird, but at least things are okay. physically and mentally, at least. or as well as they can be expected to be.”

Where are you living? The same place you lived in 2012, or displaced to a random apartment? Explain to the best of your ability.

“currently i’m in some random apartment with dickie bird. frankly, it’s probably better than mine back home and lian seems to really enjoy it despite all the weird shit happening. i’ll take it as a win-win even if i’m missing the titans tower right about now.”

What do YOU think we should do about the situation at hand? Try to go back home? The original mission of stopping Thanos? Rewrite the entire story?

“i literally have no idea what’s even happening. or who this thanos dude is. i’m still trying to catch up on why we’re all even here or how we’re back in 2012. although i’m really eager to learn about the science behind this time travel. maybe i could work it into one of my new devices.” 

What will you DO about the situation at hand?

“right now, my primary focus is keeping my daughter safe and ensuring her well being. after that, i’ll do whatever i can to help.”

Is there anything that you think needs to be done?

“catching us up on what’s happened, mayhaps. that would be greatly appreciated. i feel like a fish out of water here.” 

If need be, would you be willing to team up with the government and SHEILD to recoup and help the situation at hand?

“been there, done that. working with the government, i mean. i’m not really that interested in doing so again, but maybe. we’ll see. i’m very happy with my current team right now.”

What are your worries?

“mostly for lian. i’m worried all of this might be too much or too weird even for her. but right now all i can do is keep moving forward. hopefully the rest of the titans will show up and we can figure this shit out.” 

What do you think are the pros about this situation?

“i guess us being all together. more power in numbers.”
