I feel like the outrage around Wolfenstein, despite the fact that they’ve hardly changed their premise in decades, speaks to how much nazi ideology has been normalized recently. Its really to the point that “our game is about killing nazis”, which used to be so incredibly mundane, is now seen as taking some political stance

For this to be something any crowd, even anti-sjw anime libertarians, find distasteful says to me that more and more people are willing to welcome nazism as just another legitimate political faction. That on some level their “We only want polite debate!” scheme is working, and their image, at least in those right-of-center, is already cleaner than in 2014

shoutout to the adhd people who work their ass off every day but never know if the results will be stellar, average, or terrible
