on a serious note tho why is mona lisa smile not a prominent part of dark academia? whenever da is brought up it's always kill your darlings or dead poets society or some other movie with male leads?
don't get me wrong kyd and dps can step on me and i would be thankful, all i'm saying is that i'd like the foot of mona lisa smile to be involved as well. it's such a pretty movie with an amazing cast and an amazing message. it deals with misogyny which is fucking great so why are we not giving it the attention it deserves?
