HB literally has mutiple abusive husbands/fathers, with most of them having a good wife/mother to go along with, but I have literally NEVER seen "critics" argue that the men are only made abusive to have the wives/mothers look better.

But godforbid they make ONE of their wife/mother characters abusive, then it's suddenly misogyny, because "how dare" they portray how real life women can absolutely be abusive wives and/or mothers, too?!

I just had the most crack crossover violently invade my head, so I have to share it before I explode. 

Charlie from Hazbin Hotel and Poppy from Trolls. Having a week scrapbooking club. Just imagine,  them spread out on the floor with a gazillion scrapbook supplies and kicking their feet in the air as they trade stories. Poppy tells some story about how it's so nice to have someone who understands the art that is trying to capture cannibalism through scrapbooking. And Charlie's just like "I know. Your red glitter blood idea, though? Inspired." And Poppy is laughing and saying Branch would have teased her for it, and then they're on to swapping stories about their grumpy partners. 

And meanwhile Vaggie and Branch are out in the hallway, both bemoaning how much glitter they're going to be vacuuming up.

Just realised that whenever I see the phrase "I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole" I automatically think of a ten metre pole. Like a comically long pole. A ten foot pole isn't all that long. That's slightly less than two of my body lengths. Not touching something with a ten foot pole still lets you get pretty close to it actually.
