“Right” Smile stretching a mile wide as Lennon accepted his offer, Benji easily wrapped her up in the embrace. The hug felt really nice, he himself having had a few unresolved issues with the recent trip. “Well that’s good! Feels warm to me too. I mean, it’s supposed to since it’s a sweater, but yea. Good.”

“mhmm.” lennon pulled away, her smile a little brighter and her cheeks a little flushed. she wasn’t used to people offering her hugs, but she actually enjoyed it more than she thought she would ( she thought she wouldn't ). “how’ve you been?” she inquired, raising an eyebrow slightly. “since the holidays, i mean.”

“hey... did you possibly get the answer to number twelve?” lennon offered a small, apologetic sort of smile to the person she was probably distracting from their work. science was definitely not her favorite subject, she couldn’t help that there were some lessons she just couldn’t pay attention to. “i’m kinda stuck.” she shrugged a shoulder sheepishly.

“So, correct me if I’m wrong, but you look like you need a hug.” Benji said, sliding up next to his classmate. “Or maybe I’m the one that needs a hug.” Ben speculated. Shrugging, he continued, “Either way, hugs are nice, no matter the occasion. So, on the off chance you do want a hug, my arms are open? And not in the weird, creeper, I wanna just touch you way. More like the emotional support way. Unless you don’t like hugs…? Does that make any sense?”

“um...” a smile tugged at the corners of lennon’s mouth, and the girl released a small giggle. “i mean... everyone needs a hug now and then, right?” the blue eyed girl shrugged slightly. “and after that trip, yeah, emotional support of any kind is appreciated. so... i’ll accept your offer. your hug offer.” lennon briefly pressed herself into ben’s side. “this is nice. your sweater is warm.” her voice was slightly muffled, though still comprehensible.

lennon greets the boy with a small smile, gentle in her ways. luciel’s not the most talkative kid in the group, she knows this much. she appreciated the effort - she knew how hard it could be to strike up small talk with people you weren’t particularly close with. “yeah, other than that... i didn’t do much, but i enjoyed relaxing, y’know?” after that trip, she felt like needed to rest forever. “how about you? did you do anything fun?”

SHORT BIO ;

lennon had a comfortable childhood; her family was well-off because of her dad’s high level corporate job, but he did have to travel a lot. len grew up in private schools, her family providing abundantly for her, that sort of thing

her dad’s company offered him a deal where he could stop traveling if he took a job in australia and so they moved; that was about two years ago. months later her dad got caught in some shady financial schemes within the company and was arrested, he’s now in prison. the company sued those involved and len and her mom basically lost everything

lennon started helping her mom out by getting a job in a record shop, she has grown to really like it.

she has a dalmatian named murphy and she literally loves him sO MUCH

she’s pretty quiet and has trouble starting conversations, but once you start talking to her she is v sweet. 

has reservations about trusting new people in her life bc she trusted that her dad made his money through honesty and hard work, and he was charged with tax evasion and embezzlement so. yeah trust issues there

WANTED CONNECTIONS ;

best friend - someone who knows about her family’s situation and offers support, probably befriended her soon after she moved but we can plot whatever

love interest - lennon is pansexual, though she’s not exactly open about it. i’d love for her to have a love interest of any gender, it’d probably be a slow build, awkward thing, SO CUTE

lil squad - she probably wouldn’t have a big squad but a solid group of two or three others would be prime

new friend - someone that she isn’t super close with but they’re starting to get to know each other... bonus points if it’s an unlikely friendship
