YoKye Week #1 - Greenhouse

Yoru cleaned the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand. It was a goddamn hot day for repair the greenhouse, that had its roof broke by a storm a few days ago.

 - Are you sure you don’t want some help? - Skye said, looking at Yoru.

 The man grunted in response. He was planning to pass the day playing frisbee at the beach with his friends. Or, even better, watching a movie in Skye’s arms under the fresh air conditioner.

 Then Skye ruined everything saying that she would repair the greenhouse.

 And, even that Skye was a strong independent woman and Yoru was far from being a gentleman, he wouldn’t let his girl do that dangerous shit alone.

 Gosh, Yoru hated so much being in love.

 - Ok Ok! - Skye raised her hands, shrugging. - I’ll bring some lemonade.

 Yoru muttered something, grumpy. He had no idea what he was doing. The greenhouse repair tutorial definitely wasn’t like that. The man tilted his head to one side, then to another, testing points of view. He took a step back, placing his body on a glass with little cracks on it.

 He only heard the crash before it brokes.

 - My youth, My youth is yours… - Skye was singing while squeezing the lemons, moving the head rhythmically. - A truth so loud you can’t ignore

 - SKYEEEE!! - She heard the scream and immediately drop the lemons, running to the garden.

 She opened her mouth when she saw Yoru with half of his body suspended inside the greenhouse. Other part of the roof broke exactly where he was.

 - Shit, babe. - Skye entered the greenhouse, looking at Yoru below him. - What did you…

 - AAAAAAAAAAAA

 Yoru, unable to hold himself, fell again. Right in Skye’s arms. His hands hurted, he was all sweat, and there was glass shards falling around them.

 But, hey, he was on her girl arms after all.

 She looked him, surprised.

 -Hey…

 He couldn’t help but laugh a little, with his ears turning red.

 - My hero.
