imagine if one day maybe after a week of stydia dating, it’s almost 10 pm and lydia is still at stiles house, the sheriff opens stiles bedroom door and he sees them both on bed studying. lydia looks at the clock and say “i probably should leave, it’s getting late ” and as she starts to gather her things, stiles dad say “ you know you can stay the night if you want” ,  they stare at him in shock then lydia answer completely shocked “i can ? ” . he nods and say “of course,just call your mom” and then after he leaves, stiles jokes “wow, he kind of gave us the permission to have sex “
