Even your safest place has its down moments—

Even if they wanted to comfort you or give you warmth,

There are also those moments in their lives,

That they need to face on their own or they call in sick,

So be a little kinder to yourself and them,

When the world seems to be cruel to all of you.

Sometimes they need saving, too—

At times they also find themselves not okay and down,

When sadness hits their system and they go quiet,

When sickness makes them incapacitated,

Unable to make long chats or talks with you,

You have to understand them a little deeper.

Love them harder—

Love them at those moments they needed you,

To love them more and understand them,

To be in the position they fill for you when you needed them,

As they also get down and needed some comfort and warmth,

Love them, even on the days you feel like hell.

As for hell is also knocking on their doors—

Be kinder and considerate of their feelings,

When you feel agitated and overthinking if they care,

'Cause you feel that they care for you,

When they try to reach out even if their souls are tired,

Love them both in the good days and bad days of their lives.
