Gale
Albedo Kreideprinz x Reader
ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Maybe it was your fault afterall,
Yeah, it must be. You said to yourself as you occupied yourself by blowing on your tea.
You're usually used to cold weather, but this time, it was highly different. To think that the cozy camp, and the amount of heat surrounding the whole premises, won't do much at your current situation. You grit your teeth to reduce the chattering, but the cold sweep down from your barely covered arms down to your legs. Shivering, you rub your arms together in attempt to heat them up.
"Ah, it's insanely cold.." you breathed with a sigh, as you gaze at your company. The blonde merely chuckles at your demise much to your dismay.
"What's so funny?" You asked, slightly narrowing your eyes at the amused man before you.
Your annoyed look made his eyebrows shot up in amusement, but instead of apologizing, the alchemist simply took off his thick coat before offering it to you. You simply look at the piece of garment in his hand, then back to him, then back to his coat again.
This earns you a sigh from the male as he gesture for you to take it, you're slightly hesitant to accept his offer, but in your current state, he's more likely to withstand the cold. So who are you to deny his generous offer?
You done as you were told and slowly put on his coat, it was cozier than you expected, considering the materials it was made from, but overall, it makes you comfortable compared from before.
"Thanks, Albedo."
He meekly smiles, now in his under shirt, his attire looks more laid back compared to his usual attire, "Next time, heed my reminders okay?" He flip a page from one of his books, before jotting something down on his worn notebook.
"Yeah...sorry." you mumbled, a defeated slump hunched over your figure as you stare at your cup of steaming tea.
It was careless of you, you're definitely used to cold climates, but as Albedo warned you from before, Dragonspine is a different cold, it's beyond of what you could withstand.
Albedo gaze down at you from his mountain of books, before sighing. "Don't sweat it. I'll go cook some warm soup for us." He stood up before you could complain, he knows all too well you didn't like burdening him that much to the point that it intervenes with his work.
You gaze at him from your place, he was crouched down beside the pit of fire, occupied in adding twigs and chopped logs. Next thing you knew he's already prepping the ingredients for what you could guess a classic Radish Veggie Soup. You're aware he's not much of a cook, but it's amazing how he could do these basic skills all on his own.
"Here."
You blinked in surprise, a bowl of steaming soup was placed before you, Albedo had a small smile on his face as he noticed your surprise.
"You've blanked out seconds ago, you sure the cold weather didn't get into your head or something?"
This manㅡ
You gave him a stinky eye, which earned a gleeful laugh from the man as he sat himself across from you, "Don't give me that look... I cook for you, remember? A small thanks won't hurt." He smiled...a smug one.
But then again, he's right. You need to appreciate the effort he put into work, who knows an alchemist could actually cook?
"Thanks."
He hummed in satisfaction, preparing to continue the work he left minutes ago.
You look at him in confusion, mid bite at the poorly cut radish impaled on your fork. "Aren't you going to eat?"
He never spared you a glance, but simply raise both his eyebrows in response, "I'm still full.. go on, eat it before it gets cold." He urged,
You narrow your eyes at the suspicious man, "You didn't put any of your weird concoctions in here, don't you?"
The male laughed, hard.
Much to your dismay, only further increasing your suspicions.
"Albedo." You warned,
"Sorry..." he said in between his light chuckles, "I
Of course I wouldn't...I'm not that immersed in my concoctions to slip a portion in your soup."
"But still.."
The male sigh, a smile spread across his lips. "Seriously, (Y/n) just eat it before it gets cold...I'll make a warming potion later for you."
You choked, "So you're still thinking about giving me one?"
"Yes."
"Talk about contradicting yourself."
He chuckles, before reaching a hand toward you to ruffle your hair, "Go eat." He slowly retreat his hand to resume his work.
You look down at your food, a small smile gracing your lips "Thank you...really."
He stared at you for a few seconds before a small smile managed its way across his face as well. "No problem."

The One The Bard Once Loved
NEW Vibe check (appropriate song to cry to while reading)
"The bard, the sprite, the archer. The trio of young dreamers that wish to witness the blue skies past the raging winds that lock their freedom. But those are more than mere dreams, for it requires the sacrifice of those you love, to grace the courage to fight a God. And Barbatos, poor Barbatos, sacrificed more than he wanted."
Pairings -> Venti x Fem!Reader x Bard (Gale)
Word Count -> 4,337
Theme -> Angst, Backstory, Long Fic
Series -> #Bonafide specials (100 followers event)
Warnings -> Spoilers to Venti's story, character death
"Oh little sprite, from whence beyond
Does thou reminiscent of a vagabond?
Curious to which it whisks upon
Trapped now in desolate, forlorn"
Venti the wind sprite had always been curious, the single whisk of air that always goes the opposite way, hanging behind from his fellow currents to be distracted by a curious thing. So it was no surprise to anyone that he had gone lost once more in their rounds swaying but when he'd not return, long ago has his current passed the nation of Mond. Yet there was no way he can fly by his family of winds, for he finds himself trapped within the walls of a grazing storm that cages the stone walls of the city, of winds that he could not control nor agitate.
No matter how hard he tries the wind does not part, and so little Venti was stuck inside brooding skies and angry blasts. No mere sprite can go against the mighty strength of an archon.
So he resigns to his fate and wanders in this new place. Of a city wide and barren, why dare the Decarabian hide such dwelling? And even with the raging howls of the walls of wind, Venti couldn't help but wonder the silence it traps within.
A tiny ball of white in an expanse of gray. The thought scares the little sprite enough to make him scurry for the smallest bit of sound he can decipher. The loneliness creeps into his core—
And his little body bumps into that of a soft material. "Oh! Goodness, one should not run off without looking like that-" the figure turns and finds itself face to face with a floating blob, deep blue eyes wide and mouth hangs with wonder. Venti recognizes this creature in one of his endeavors as the wind, a human being, the true wanderers of Teyvat. Yet what is one doing trapped? "Such a peculiar being! What could you be?"
Yet it is not frightened by Venti's rarity, well, given he is not the most frightening wonder in this continent this was no surprise.
The sprite did not mind being found out. No, no, quite the opposite honestly, as he flies closer to the young boy and hides in his upturned hood. Nuzzling against the junction in his neck as he expresses gratitude in the company and presence of another in this desolate world.
The young boy chuckles and it reminds him of a song. "Perhaps you do not understand what I spoke?" The sprite shakes its head and the ticklish spot is tickled again. "Or do you not know how to speak?" A nod. And another giggle.
Without another word, the human slips back into the alleys of winding yet thin roads before making his way inside what looks to be a cathedral of tall composition. Glass windows of the same length tinted in kaleidoscopic patterns of color. There is a light in them you would usually bask in during the 'outside world', but in here it replicates that of an oasies in the deserts of Sumeru.
Underneath the artificial haze it beams a seeming spotlight at a figure clad in a dark ebony cloak. Venti felt the vibrations of an elated gasp as the human rushed over with a smile and frantic waving.
"My fair muse, how you've brighten my day, bestowing your presence tonight!"
The cloak tenses before immediately relaxing, the 'muse' he speaks of turns with its loose hood falling as it bundled around the shoulders, and Venti the sprite couldn't help but gasp too at the sight!
Fair is lacking, no words can describe the essence of bloom and beauty at the beholder as you stood there almost sparkling, hair catching the twinkle of light. Your plum lips caught itself smiling yet your eyes twinkled double the amusement at the sight of the human before you, "Gale." You murmured with an undertone of annoyance as you trudged over, flicking the boy's forehead so suddenly he'd voiced his hurt loudly. "Where have you been?! You've never been late to our daily rendezvous, you had me worried-!"
"Oh, such a cutie when you worry!" The young boy, Gale, cupped your cheeks in the middle of your spiel as he softly pats it with his fingers. Venti had never seen such creature change colors as fast as you, not even a chameleon, or an octopus in hiding. "I've simply found a new companion while I was out and about!"
As if a spotlight was caught unto him this time, your blown eyes wandered to the sprite floating by your company's neck. And oddly he'd found the attention appreciated.
"Who is this? An elf?"
"Venti!" There was a distant jingle of imaginary bells in his squeak of a voice.
"It/You can talk?!"
(Y/N) Lawrence.
Gale the Bard.
Venti the El- Wind Sprite.
Gale was a bard that resides in the cathedral of Mondstadt, homeless and without blood and kin, the nuns had took him in and lead their choir in turn for their hospitality.
You, on the other hand, lived with a clan of hunters that once ruled the mountains and forests. But with the emergence of the inescapable walls of wind, your family had been on the forefront of the protection of the citizens.
There were a lot of struggles in communication between you two and the lil sprite. He only knows his name and how to copy words (not so fluently) so questions had to be foregone, teaching the little one took priority. And Gale being the weaver of words took it upon himself to teach him frequently as you had your duties and family to go to.
Venti would sometimes disappear for a majority of the time and you'd figured he finally found a way to pass through the winds without shredding himself among the blades of current. And then he'd pop back in to listen to the merry tunes Gale had come up with, both of them waiting for your return.
"Ah Venti, is she not a beauty? The youngest daughter of Lawrence, as divine as that of incense. Oh tell me those dotted eyes could see it too!" The little sprite eagerly nods as he follows the bard's stride across the aisles in the holy cathedral, once again barren of other souls except for them. Whenever his human friend finds time to muse, it would be most about the maiden he fancies, the muse of most of his songs. Venti had been captured by his delicate tunes and savory lines to the point that he too had been overly enticed by your grace when your presence shines.
Your strength, your smile, your laugh, your hair. Your gait, your poise, your eyes, your glare. You had caught their stares dozens of times in silence before and it was always up to you to put them back to present time.
Venti simply basked in your warming aura and indulges himself outwardly, often you'd find him dozing off on the crown of your head. And often times you'd find a little pout on Gale at such a sight that you had no choice but to tease. In those moments, the wind sprite knew he had come out triumphant.
The cathedral doors open as quickly as they had closed, your windswept and frantic form appearing from the storm outside. The two boys in your life immediately lit up on your appearance but you'd know most of it was directed at the numerous scrolls and books you currently cradle in your shivering arms.
You offered them a grin, one of victory, and you'd all cheered at your success.
Soon, your merry trio made its way to the second floor of the cathedral in front of a faraway hallway that looks over the vast floor of the first yet still had the glow from the looming illuminated glass windows. Beholden in front of you are illustrations of a world beyond, filled with colors and shine, a world you had only imagined from stories now pictured perfectly.
Venti would hover over the illustrations at random intervals and giddily point at some of those he recognized, squeaking incoherent noises yet reflecting happiness and familiarity. While you fancied with indulging the sprite in his incomprehensible stories, Gale sat beside you with adoring yet distant eyes upon the images laid before him. Looking through them, and projecting himself in such a world. The books of the outside world you'd stolen from your clan's sacred libraries will be the start of a spark of desire to be free. And with it the start of a new era.
"The true sky, and songs that cageless soar...
Were they not wishes worth fighting for?"
Long had you gone and abandoned your stolen goods for them to admire more, at least until the day your clan finally realized the missing materials in the vast expanse of the bookshelves they own. There was more to marvel at yet you feared if you linger longer, your sister would look for you and find your little crime all too soon.
Venti quietly watches the familiar illustration of a beach littered with creatures of the sea on its glittering sand before he'd lift his tiny head up, witnessing the intense stare his bard friend had on the scroll where lies an overgrown tree and a stone structure. The sprite noted he had not seen this one.
"How marvelous it would be, to celebrate the most joyous moments under this tree," Gale mumbled in a quiet lilt of longing in his voice, "Imagine (Y/N) and I, with you by my side, as I finally pluck the courage to get down on one knee." Venti bumbled in slight jealousy, buzzing in front of the bard that could only cast a laugh. "Oh hush, dear friend, is it not appropriate to take an arrow to the knee for an archer such as she?"
Yet even with his desire to be by your side, the little sprite knew that he would be there to support his friend for the happiness you two deserved. In a land where you are free. Still, Venti hopes his cuteness would be enough to prolong you just a little bit more.
Drunk in passion and dreams, the next day the bard was scheming. And when you'd come to his cathedral of a home, he finally poured out his plans to you with a Venti quipping with cheers on the side.
The Mondstadtian had predicted your hesitance, even your disapproval on the notion, and were ready to chip in to persuade you once more— yet you gave in. Immediately. The same fire burned in your eyes at the thought of being unshackled and caged from the world begging to be explored. Your sentiments together with the bard fueled the desire between you three, and through the brainpower of a trio of young minds, you had drawn your plans.
Gale aided by Venti would try and coerce with the Ragnvindr clan's leader, and you would work on convincing your eldest sister Amos for the help needed to coerce the whole Lawrence bloodline into the battle. You knew there was an undeniable hatred within her against Decarabian and you wanted her to fuel that fire once and for all, for one great cause.
And soon enough, the strings of fate had come into play, and the one who shall record this momentous history has taken its seat by the balcony of war. Only the last piece of the puzzle is left in this grandoise play—
"Gale, Venti, are you sure this is the right direction to the hideout? We're taking a route longer than usual, surely you're not making last minute pranks..."
Your bow smacks at your back as you made your way inside the dark closet. It was two cycles before the fated ambush would come and in your nerves you had not realized how amiss things had been for the others. You were more than ready even if your fingers were to tremble everytime it holds your bow and arrow, predictions of the war that shall come floats within the expanse of your mind.
In your limited vision, your bard friend and sprite shared a look that did not pass by you. The tension had only caused you to gulp in your nervousness, were you found out? Did the participants of the revolt suddenly back down? "There has been a change of plans, but worry not for history still pans. My Muse, it is best you stay to assure you will not be caught in the storm's disarray-"
A hand flew across the bard's pristine white skin and his dark ocean hues could not help but widen. Is he... telling you to not participate in the war?! What kind of— a sob left through your gritted teeth despite your best efforts, and you're not sure who was more broken between your friends upon the sight. "How could you, even think- Gale, you carry no arms but a lyre! And Venti still has no means to go against the Archon that controls the winds! What kind of absurd idea is this?!" In the middle of your rage, your friends had already wrapped you in their sentimental hug, expressing their own misery with free-flowing tears." I'm supposed to protect you... t-the three of us were supposed to lead the path of freedom..."
"You've always protected us, (Y/N). Now would be the best time... to return the favor," and as your friend stepped back to give a parting smile, your whole world suddenly engulfed in black as the door shut with a slam and a final lock.
"Gale! Venti! No, please no! Let me out! Don't do this, PLEASE!"
"Please hear us out, our dear (Y/N)," Gale leaned his forehead against the thick door that separates you two, shedding the last bit of tears he could muster before the end of an era. The desperation in your every bang against it, breaks apart a hole in his own heart, "For your own good, and your own future."
When Gale described love to the little Venti, the latter was certain that he felt the same way for you. Yet the human ever so jokingly laughed at how he was still too young to fully understand the implications of such words. But he desired just as much to protect you, to be by your side, and to see your smile. But the human was right for he did not truly understand the reasons WHY he felt like so...
So he asked instead, dear friend Gale of Tales, why have you come to cherish this human in devotion? And quite so the other was happy to indulge!
"It starts with young Mondstadt when the walls were young and the people still knew the tales and what they sang. I was a poor little bard with a broken lyre, when living alone was nothing but dire.
Without a home, without a bed, I was ready to starve to death. But an angel clad in white suddenly lead me to bright light. My muse had brought to me a cathedral, yes the one we are in now! And since then I've lived a proper choir life, always wondering how...
just how things would be without (Y/N), my angel? Continuing to live in the dark alleys, would I have been able? Even now I have yet to repay her act of kindness. But one day, for sure... " Perhaps, this act the young boy now follows, was the payment he had been waiting for.
How long you had stayed there, you had no clue but by the sounds of war cries and clashing steel had told you enough. You'd been there for too long.
Blessed with some luck that a crowbar had found its way in this janitor closet in a cathedral no less, you had immediately set out to join the battle: beyond the holy doors flames had lit up from the torches the revolt has carried, many bodies lay by the stone grounds of the city, some moving and struggling while some... you spare them not a second thought as you rushed past the stone pillars to where the heat of the war should be. If the battle plan had gone as it should then—
A hand gripped your arm with such force it had you cry out before you even registered you were being slammed to the floor. A shadow of a knight that serves the God of Storm looms over you with a glare blazing past his helmet. "You're one of them, I recognize that face! You're not winning today-" yet another blade suddenly pierced through his chest, and your shirt had been splattered when it was pulled. The now lifeless body falls past you and another replaces him.
"Sir Ragnvindr!" The knight shared the same shock and relief you wore before it steeled, immediately pulling you up and away from the on-going exchanges of blows. "Everyone- how's the war looking?"
"Men had fallen from the green-tipped arrows, but we are making progress," the redhead gestured to the tower where the greatest enemy lies, taking note of the cracks and crumbling structure, a sign of his coming doom. A very good sign. "Amos took it upon herself to climb the tower-"
"What?! That's beyond the plan, she- she could get herself killed!" You brought your own bow from your back at the mention of your sister archer, bringing the strings back with an arrow at the ready, your intention clear. The redhead had shown a glint of worry but his gaze had been resolved once again at the hope of freedom, and he leaves you to your chase as he fends off the guards that dare go after you.
You expertly evaded blows and parried kicks with your bow and arrow, yet no sign of the heads of the resistance had caught your sight. The longer you climbed, the more you feared for the worst. By 2/3 of the tower you had scaled you managed to poke your head out to see the scale of war. Of red and orange floated below as the razor winds felt more violent than it had been ever since you had been born within its impenetrable walls, even from this distance high up you could still hear the clash, the warmongers held up in the central square where all battles now takes place.
And within that chaos you managed to single out a lump of black and a dot of floating white. Miraculously, your scream had reached their faraway ears and looked up, just in time to see your aerial shots of support.
"(Y/N)?! What is she-!" His words had been cut with an arrow wheezed past his head to bring down a foe that had sneaked behind him. Right, battle. Many of the immediate threats had been neutralized and the resistance had found the upper ground thanks to the archer's barrage. "How-how is she up there!"
Another body had fallen next to him with a cut on its back, a certain knight rushing past him to hit another. "Watch your back, bard! Now's not the time to monologue, she's going to backup Amos."
You were too far to hear the horrified gasp and the fearful expression your two faithful friends adorned. But the ground you were on began to shake, and you know you had to go on. "Venti! Gale! Focus, I'll be there with you two soon!" You screamed at the top of your lungs in hopes that it will reach them before continuing your ascent to the most treacherous area you had to be in—
You barelled towards the woman with silver hair with a pace you've never seen and a strength you'd never thought you carried, exchanging the shot you felt lodge into your left side as you sent one right through the guard's neck. You fell on your bottom and clutched the wounded area, but kept it there, if not to make sure the blood does not pour if you were to take it out.
"Sister!" The familiar voice cradled you as gently as she could with a fear-stricken face. But you assured her that it had not hit anything major, the way her worry didn't dissipate seem to hide a kind of anguish she couldn't name. "We must get you to safety, the clerics- the clerics could-"
"I'm fine, I'm fine," you grunted as you pried yourself out of her grasp to prove your point, still able to keep your stance. You see Amos struggle from fatigue yet about to bite back, "We're so close, sister, any moment we linger is another body on the list of deaths." Painfully she'd bitten on her own tongue, finally relenting as you ascended the last few steps.
Normal arrows are nothing but toothpicks against the mighty God of Storms, the Anemo Archon, who easily flicked your futile attempts to graze him. And yet Decarabian was losing power just from fighting off not only your barrages but those even from below. His walls were thinning and his heart crumbles, from the thought of his once devoted followers turning back on him.
With one last strength the Lawrences gathered every piece of energy and power they could into their shot, and Decarabian looked at them with tired eyes and a raised hand. "Finally, I shall hold his gaze." The voice next to you spoke before your charged shot, swirling with beaming light flew past the sharp gale of wind and pierced through the God's core. Your ears had picked up on a violent crack before you were hit by the razor breeze upon the dying breath of the archon, sending you and Amos off the crumbling tower to free fall to your deaths.
In the edge of your peripherals the bleak gray walls of storms dissolved into rays of natural light, giving way to a hue of blue you had never seen before. As the wind wheezed past your ears, you smiled at the face of death—
When a jingle of little bells suddenly slowed your descension, and you were softly met with the hard floor on your back. With tired eyes you'd found yourself next to the pioneers of freedom, conscious and unconscious. You had felt Venti nudge your hand to those of another's limp ones, soft palms yet calloused fingers, you intertwined your hands with that of the bard's.
"We did it, we finally... did it..." A pulling force drains the consciousness from your mind and body in laboured breaths, and despite your protests to keep staring at the beautiful sight of the true sky, your eyelids were pulled shut by an unknown exhaustion.
Past their closed state, a flash of light was the last thing you had thought. Bruised and beaten, your warm hand did not register how the ones you clung to... did not squeeze back.
...
The next time (e/c) orbs flew open their eyes the world felt that of a lucid dream, with silk of the cleanest white donned their body, and the softest breeze of a sweet flower you had not smelt passes by you. Teal orbs looked down at you with a gentleness you've felt from the artificial light from the cathedral. Speaking of- your eyes unfocused shifted its gaze to the light blue skies.
"You're... awake." Your bard friend breathed out in disbelief and another emotion your brain can't quite place. The cotton of clouds float above in painted beauty, and you had pried your sight away from it almost painfully just to spare your companion a look.
"It's..." your throat grated and ached at the attempt, coming out so weak and breathless, "It's very beautiful... out here, free... Have- have you gone to explore?" Your face twisted in numbing pain from talking, and the bard started to quiver yet stood strong with a smile.
"I had, it's - it's just like how we imagined, even better than we've taken for granted," wet spots adorned your cheeks in short successions, you couldn't help but smile. "I only wish you were there to see it first hand, the flowers, the sunsets, the land-"
"Yet I fell asleep," you laughed in mirth yet there was no sound that escaped. The grip around you tightens as you loll your head to the side; there lays a new city kissed by the huge orb of light in the blue veil of a sky, lush green grass of health you've never seen before shone with a moistness on it, and around its glory lays a beauty of a moat that mirrors the one above. Beautiful, you whispered under your long-awaited breathe.
"The people of Mond had done their best to rebuild, for the promise of freedom they had not wilt," a hand on your cheek, flawless, urged your gaze once more to lay upon the bard. "We've devised a festival to celebrate named Ludi Harpastum. Tell me... my muse, will you accompany me in this new custom?"
A new breeze had lulled you in your ears once again to sleep, and a flash of fear had passed over your companion's features before it dissipated when you opened your eyes once more. A festival, you haven't heard that in years, "I would love to. But maybe... tomorrow..."
"Tomorrow."
"Mhm, I feel tired... the sun invites me to sleep, will you wait for me tomorrow?"
"T-Tomorrow."
"Good." Your eyes were covered by darkness again as you felt a pressure against your forehead. "It's... a date..." And your tired heart finally found peace, after battling for 15 days restlessly, desperately.
Venti picked you up from where you laid on his lap, setting you down on the grass bed besides the giant roots of the Windrise tree. Nearest your left, a stone plate carved with words you never dare see lies next to you. And for the first time in fifteen days, a God cries again.

¹The green-tipped arrows were coated with poison.
²Reader's bow is designed after the Raven's Bow.
³Gale is not the bard's official name but was used to avoid too many confusion.
⁴This had a different, more painful and hatred alternate ending where you hated Venti for taking Gale's form, but I changed it so I could rest my own heart.
*in honor of your contribution to Mondstadt's freedom, the maiden who throws the Harpastum is made for your grace.

childe headcanons – soft love
removing his gloves after a tedious, restless day, his hands aren’t preserved from the wear of weaponry: slender fingers, with undersides marred from a grip instilled at birth, as if there’s no absolution and only ruination in his destiny.
an obstinate gaze, always forward and dismissive of the past, so much so that it nearly prompts tears in your eyes. but it’s all right, he’ll wipe them away with the same hands he’s slain leviathans with, soothe you with that foxish, reassured voice of his when you feel like you should be the one to comfort him instead.
kisses like light rain, swift and peppered and nipping at the color under your flesh. a laugh brimming with joviality and as malleable as its master, yet sighed into your neck as bare and transparent. there are no curtains to pull aside, no fog that needs dissipating – only your arms around him and your name on his lips.
“told you not to wait for me.” a final peck above your jaw; he smells like the ocean breeze met a tempest from the mountains, then speaks as if he’s been reunited with summer after months of impervious frost – and his next words are only ones you’ve heard a million times before.

Headcanons for Albedo
A/N: My boyfriend pulled Albedo THREE GODDAMN TIMES IN A GODDAMN ROW (two Multis and a Single) so now he has C2 Albedo and I’m left with nothing. I can’t even get Sucrose. It’s not fair. Anyways, there’s a teeny bit of NSFW, so read at your own discretion.
My Masterlist

• Albedo seems to be in the public eye a decent amount (or at least, a lot of people know him) so I’d say he probably doesn’t have an issue with public affection. He’d definitely hold your hand while amongst others—but his interest could easily be piqued by some passing thing and the next thing you know, he’s pulling away to go investigate some phenomenon. Once he’s had his fill of investigating, he’ll return his hand to yours like it never even left.
• I imagine that his kisses are quick and short. He seems like a guy who is always going and doesn’t really have the time to stop for a make out session out of nowhere. But once you get him home, just grab him by the shirt and pull him in for a kiss. He’ll get the message loud and clear, and then all of that focus will turn to you.
• He might unknowingly hurt your feelings or embarrass you by comparing you to some plant or monster. He doesn’t mean to—he just means that the way you snore when you’re really tired reminds him of a hilichurl, and maybe there’s some kind of evolutionary connection between humans and hilichurls. That would be a pretty cool find in his eyes, so the fact that you made him think of that makes him smile.
• He’d probably try to make up for making connections between you and monsters by calling you sweet things that remind him of you. My perfect flower and my sunrise are favorites of his. He also spends a lot of time in Dragonspine, so if you ever visit he might throw in some chilly moniker like my glittering snowflake or something extremely cheesy like that.
• Have you seen his hair? This man can and will do your hair for you if you ask him to. And I mean, he’ll wash and condition it with the best products he can find, he’ll brush it out perfectly smooth, he’ll braid it or style it however you want. He’ll even go the whole nine yards and create little flowers or tiny gems to put in your hair too, if that’s what you want.
• I get pretty strong switch energy from him. Like sure, sometimes he wants to take control and rail you into next week because he hasn’t seen you in a week because of his research. But then sometimes he also loves to let you take control and have your way with him.
• Honestly, he’s probably has some masochistic tendencies. He likes a little bit of pain; it turns him on. Whether it’s temperature play (come on, the guy willingly travels to a frozen mountain for research) or being tied up, he gets a kick out of it. But nothing too extreme, and not very often. Just every once in a while, you know?
• Cook for him. Seriously. He gets so into his research that sometimes he doesn’t eat properly, and you making sure that he eats good food at reasonable times is one of the reasons why he fell in love with you.
• Albedo likes your hands. When laying in bed at night, he’ll just take your hand and trace the lines on your palm, then your knuckles, then your fingernails. Then he’ll put it on his chest, right over his heart, and give it a little squeeze. And then he’ll fall asleep.
• Sometimes he just talks to you about his research, whether you understand it or not. Sometimes just vocalizing his thoughts can lead him to new conclusions or get him past a problem he was stuck with. And when he figures something out, he’ll stop and give you a little kiss as thanks. You don’t even have to say a thing.
• He never fails to blush when you tell him that you love him. His cheeks and the bridge of his nose just turn the slightest shade of red, and he’ll blame it on the cold if he’s in Dragonspine, or he’ll say the sun burned him if he’s in Mondstadt. Either way, he tries to come up with some kind of excuse to hide how much it flusters him to hear you say that you love him and want to spend the rest of your life with him.

Small acts of love with some of my Genshin favorites
{A/N: I’ve had this on the brain since this morning. It’s just soft. That’s it. Merry Christmas to y’all who celebrate it!}

Things you do for him
Bringing him water and food because he gets absorbed in his work sometimes and forgets to eat.
Worrying after him and telling him to be careful. He doesn’t always place enough importance on his own wellbeing, and hearing you express concern about that really shows that you care.
Asking him questions about his work. Knowing you’re interested in his research makes him very happy, and he’s always glad to explain anything you’d like to know more about.
Things he does for you
Congratulations, you get the full force of the benefits that come with being the absolute favorite person of a brilliant alchemist. That means he’s probably made at least few little devices designed specifically with you in mind.
Paying attention to every little thing you say. If you’re talking, you have his full attention.
Remembering. He can easily recall every favorite thing you’ve ever told him, he knows your birthday by heart... you name it, he probably knows it. He might even know more about you than you do at this point.

Things you do for her
She’d never ask for this because she doesn’t want to trouble you, but giving her shoulder massages. After working all day, her shoulders can get a bit tight.
Waiting up for her. Sometimes she works later than she’d like, and she always tells you that you don’t have to wait for her, but you always do. It makes her smile without fail, even after a rough day.
Helping her relax. Her job as the Yuheng can be really stressful at times, but a cup of tea and cuddling up with you before bed makes it easy for her to fall asleep.
Things she does for you
Spending her time off with you. Sometimes she’ll even work extra hard and complete everything that needs to be done early so she can take you out to dinner or spend a weekend going shopping and enjoying each other’s company.
Always kissing you goodbye and goodnight. She might be a little more shy with affection in public, but even then you’ll at least get a forehead or cheek kiss. Every morning before she leaves she kisses you goodbye, even if you’re asleep. She feels a little guilty if she wakes you up, but finds how your eyes flutter open slightly extremely cute.
Spoiling you just a little. If you’re having a rough week, she’ll bring you a little something she bought from the market or make your favorite food. She hates to see you sad or upset, so she likes to do little special things to brighten your day.

Things you do for her
Asking her how her day was. She’s used to a lot of people not paying her much attention. She doesn’t mind- she’s just a maid, after all- but having you take time to ask about her day and listen to her really warms her heart.
Offering to help her. She has no trouble carrying heavy things or dealing with her daily work, but the fact that you’re concerned enough to ask if she’d like any help is touching.
Believing in her. She wants to be a knight so badly, so your support of her dream means more than she could ever say.
Things she does for you
Being the most attentive person to ever exist. If you need something, she’s on it.
Always being there with your favorite snack and a smile when you’re having a bad day, and listens to your troubles, just like you do for her.
Pleasing you however she can. She loves to make you happy, so she’ll go far out of her way to make you smile. In all honesty, she’d do anything for you.

Things you do for him
Brushing his hair out. He loves when you do it, and it really helps him unwind after a long day.
Visiting him while he’s working at the winery or the tavern.
Just being there. He’s gotten used to being alone, even in a winery full of people. He didn’t even realize how starved for love and attention he was until he met you.
Things he does for you
Taking notice very quickly when you’re uncomfortable. If you’re cold, his coat is draped over your shoulders before you know what’s happening. If someone you’re talking to is making you uneasy, he’ll whip up an excuse and get you out of there.
Protecting you. If you’re in danger, he’s there to help. Whether it’s monsters, treasure hoarders, Fatui... it doesn’t matter. God forbid anything hurts you, because it’s about to see what hell really feels like. Don’t take it the wrong way, he doesn’t think you’re weak. He just loves you a lot, and couldn’t stand to lose you.
Looking out for you. He’s not shy to use his reputation and power in Monstadt to ensure no one antagonizes you. If you have bullies or harassers, you don’t anymore. He can’t have his love being upset, after all.

arguments + genshin guys
prompt: anon requested “how do you feel about your favourite genshin boy(s) getting into an argument with their s/o?? :0’’ characters: kaeya, childe/tartaglia, diluc, zhongli, xiao, and albedo w/ a gender-neutral reader word count: ~1.3k warnings: arguing (duh), sfw, headcanons-ish style?
a/n: hope you don’t mind this style, anon! i felt like it could suit your request well and works far better than a full story (imo). still haven’t written much at all for albedo, i hope this works well!
albedo
albedo argues with disinterest, unsure as to why you’re acting so irrational about such a topic. his voice reeks with condescension, remaining eerily calm as he sidelines your concerns. it isn’t until you storm out of his lab, irate due to the alchemist talking down to you, that seeds of doubt plant themselves within albedo’s heart. when he arrives home far later than expected to your shared bedroom, only to find the bed empty, the slowly growing saplings erupt into trees.
their leaves clog up his lungs and the branches twist around his heart and up his throat as albedo tries not to panic over your absence. when you return the next morning, expecting albedo to be at work, you’re met with an uncharacteristically clingy hug from the blonde-haired man. his arms encircle around your waist as he apologizes, truly and genuinely. you murmur a soft apology in turn and hold him close to you, brushing away the leaves and trimming back the branches of anxiety within him.

THAT XIAO IMAGINE HURT MY HEART OMFG. Would you possibly consider writing something similar to that for Diluc where maybe Diluc is spending so much time with Lumine that the reader separates herself from them and tries to leave because reader believes Diluc loves Lumine? God my heaaaaaaaaaaaaaart 😭😭😭😭😭
I FOUND IT! I finally found it😭😭 I really thought I lost this and was a little upset, but I found it. Ok, so I took pointers from the last one and the ending isn’t as angsty as I want. I hope I don’t disappoint with it though! It also turned out to be much longer than I expected. Wanna guess how long before I start hating this banner too? I give it a week before I never wanna see its face again. Length: 1.8k
Pointless
You and Diluc had a beautiful and healthy relationship. You two had been together for about three and a half years. You had met while you were still a novice adventurer. You were extremely shy and reserved, but he found it adorable. He found himself so attached, he was unable to think of anything but you when you weren’t around him.
He often found himself seeking you out, needing the attention and happiness you brought him. Within a few months, Diluc knew what was happening. He was in love. He was so madly in love he couldn’t help it. He found himself getting jealous, wanting to keep your attention on him and only him. Finally, he pushed himself to confess. To his pleasant surprise, you agreed, claiming you liked him as well.
Ever since then, your life was amazing. It was filled with joy every single day. You often woke up, feeling brighter than ever, knowing your life was blessed. You knew Diluc was the man you wanted to spend the rest of your life with.
Knew.
Then she came along. Lumine. The beautiful blonde girl, one who wasn’t from this world. She was able to wield anemo and geo powers without needing a vision. She helped Diluc, Venti, and Jean with the Dvalin issue. Diluc promised you that after he was done with that problem, he’d be back with you. But he never did.
After Dvalin, Lumine said she needed help with her adventuring and he went with her. Now, normally you wouldn’t mind it. Lumine had learned about Diluc’s side job- the Darknight Hero- and she needed help. But Diluc never came to your adventures with you. Not to mention, he didn’t tell you about his Darknight Hero job until you found out two years in. It hurt that you felt as if Lumine was getting different treatment.
You would often go to the manor to find out that Diluc had already left with Lumine on some stupid escapade. Finally, you’d hit a wall. What were you supposed to do? Break up with him and then do what? Watch as he continued to live life with Lumine? Were you supposed to smile and wave every time you saw him? Were you supposed to pretend you weren’t shattered that Diluc actually found a woman of his caliber?
Your mind was plagued with thoughts like that, so much so, that you would get distracted. Of course, you hadn’t realized how dangerous that was… until you were here.
You screamed as a mitachurl shield bashed you, causing you to fly back and roll on the ground.
“Oh, I hate my life.” You groaned, pushing yourself to stand. The world was spinning and your vision was blurred. The pain shot through your body and you prepared to die. Maybe Diluc would regret something if that happened. As the strength drained from your body and you prepared to surrender, you felt arms surround you. Your body was enveloped in warmth as you were quickly moved away.
Unable to tell what was happening, you went along with it as you felt your back touch a tree. You slid down as the dark figure moved away. You touched your aching head and noted they returned in a few minutes.
“D-Diluc?” They crouched down in front of you and took your head into their hands.
“Diluc? I don’t know who that is.” They said. Finally, your vision cleared up and you gazed into beautiful, golden eyes. “Are you ok?” He had green hair, beautiful eyes, and a purple diamond on his forehead.
“I uh… y-yeah…” You mumbled, feeling your cheeks flushing a deep red.
“You’re red. Are you sure?” You nodded, pushing him away and standing up. However, you stood up too quickly and felt the world spin. But before you could fall, the man had caught you again. “Careful!”
“I… I’m sorry.” You mumbled, before relaxing into his arms. Shy or not, you don’t know how badly you’d been hurt.
“Just… stay still.” He mumbled, picking you up with ease. You let your head rest on his chest, closing your eyes for a minute. In your time of need, your boyfriend didn’t save you… why? Because he chose to be out with another girl. Yet this random man, he was here for you. He did save you.
***
“Will you be ok?” The man asked as you walked out of the healing house. You nodded to him.
“Yes. Thank you so much for bringing me here. I really appreciate it. I-I’m (f/n).”
“I know… I’m Xiao.”
“Xiao… it’s nice to meet you.” You beamed, holding your hand out. He stared at it for a minute before taking it in his and giving it a gentle shake.
***
Ever since that day, you’d felt less hopeless. You hadn’t been as worried about Diluc because you had Xiao. Xiao had mentioned he’d seen you plenty of times while you were adventuring. He mentioned he thought you were strong, but didn’t understand what had gone wrong the day he met you. You chose to lie and say it was because you were tired but needed the commission money. He called you careless for taking on a job you were too tired to handle. He also added that he’d been joining you every now and then to make sure you stayed in one piece.
However, as the days went on, Xiao accompanied you on more and more adventures. You’d started to forget about Diluc and felt less and less burdened by him choosing a new girl. In fact, it had been weeks since you’d seen him. You two still met up every now and then for some pathetic date, but even that stopped.
You opted to spend time with Xiao, someone who could help you forget your worries. You’d almost completely forgotten Diluc… until you saw him.
You and Xiao were in Liyue looking at some wares, when you saw bright red hair in the distance. Your heart stopped and you felt the anxiety start to build up. But the thing that hurt the most… was that Lumine was with him. You had no idea what to do. Well… there was one thing. You moved yourself directly in front of Xiao, whose back was facing Diluc and Lumine.
“Hm? What’s wrong?” You looked up at him with glossy eyes.
“I’m… sorry but c-can we s-stay like this? Fo-for a minute?” Xiao was hesitant, but nodded.
“Yeah, sure.” You let your gaze fall on his chest, but all you could think about was Diluc and Lumine. He… really did love her. It hurt, even now, it hurt so bad. It tore your heart to shreds.
As Diluc and Lumine started to walk away, you moved Xiao so that he could hide your figure. It didn’t take a genius to figure out you were hiding from someone.
“So, that’s Diluc. Nothing special.”
“What?”
“That’s him. The man you’re with, correct?” You immediately shook your head, but Xiao looked at you, silencing any protests. “I know. I saw you two together. About three years ago. You two were happy. I’m assuming that’s his new woman.”
“You...knew?”
“I knew of you two three years ago. I didn’t know anything about him. I figured he must’ve been Diluc when you called out to him six months ago.” The day he saved you. “Tell me.”
You broke. Xiao took you to a secluded spot where you told him everything. You couldn’t tell, but Xiao was furious. He hated how you’d been treated. Someone like you deserved the world, all the love the world could offer, yet… here you were crying about some idiot who couldn’t even treat you right.
“Maybe there’s something wrong with me.” You said, tears sliding down your cheeks. “She’s better. Lumine is stronger, she’s beautiful, she’s talented, she doesn’t even need a vision, she’s… better in every single way.” Xiao took your face, lifting your head to meet his eyes gently.
“I don’t think so.”
“But h-he wants her. N-not me…” His thumbs brushed away your tears.
“So?”
“Wh-what do you mean so? I love him and I-”
“Don’t need him.” You looked up at his gorgeous gold eyes.
“What?”
“You don’t need him. You want him. You want him back and for him to love you, but you don’t need him. You’ve stopped needing him since we met. Admit it.” He was right. With Xiao, you’d almost completely forgotten Diluc. Almost as if you’d moved on already.
“But…”
“It’s ok. It’s ok to move on so quickly. It’s ok to no longer want to spend your life with someone. It’s ok to let go.”
“Xiao…” You hadn’t even noticed his lips getting closer and closer until they were almost touching yours. But, Xiao pulled away and let go of you.
“You don’t need him.” Xiao stood up and patted your head, before walking away. You watched his figure disappear before leaning against the wall behind you. Maybe… he was right.
After a few minutes of contemplating, you stood up, feeling a great weight lifted off your chest. Yeah, you didn’t need Diluc anymore. Might as well officially break up with him.
You took a few deep breaths before scouting out Diluc. It wasn’t too hard, he stood out quite a bit.
“Diluc.” He turned around and his vermillion eyes widened.
“(f-f/n). Hi.”
“Hey, can we talk in private?” He nodded as Lumine left and you pulled him aside. For some reason, you felt no fear or anxiety. Just… peace. “I think we should break up.”
“Wh-what?”
“I think we should end this… whatever this is. Because let’s be honest, it’s not a relationship anymore.”
“B-but. Wait a minute, d-don’t do this-”
“I didn’t do anything. You did. I’m just going along with your lead.” You could see the sadness in his eyes but you refused to let it get to you. “You want Lumine, right? It’s ok! I’m completely fine with it. She’s a better option, I know. She’s strong, talented, beautiful, just better. Isn’t she?”
“But wait! You can’t just do this. You can’t leave me. I-”
“Don’t need you.” Diluc stared at you with wide eyes as you recalled Xiao’s words. It felt so good to say it out loud.
“What?”
“I don’t need you. You don’t want me. So why are we wasting our time like this?”
“Please don’t do this.”
“Why? What do you want from me? We haven’t even seen each other in over a month. There’s no point in trying to revive this relationship. There’s nothing left of it and to be frank… I don’t want it.” You gave him a hug, one he was barely able to reciprocate before you pulled away. However, he grabbed your hand.
“Please (f/n).”
“No. You want Lumine. Have her.” You shook his hand off and smiled brightly before leaving. You felt tears well up in your eyes again but it was ok. You knew it was ok, even as they slid down your cheeks.
Xiao smiled to himself as he leaned against the roof. He closed his eyes, engraving his mind with your figure. The way your hair flowed behind you, the way the sun shone down on your figure, the way you confidently smiled and walked away, it was all so beautiful and perfect.
“I have fallen in love with an exceptional woman…”

summary: once he’s comfortable with skinship and the like, he can’t keep his hands off of you
pairing: xiao x gn!reader
style & genre: written; angsty with reflections but it is ultimately fluff
warnings: mildy suggestive
notes: i am manifesting early for him, please come home. this is literally, COMPLETELY, self-indulgent. i read his backstory and i am DEVASTATED to say the least so this is my interpretaion of his thoughts. enjoy <3
hi god, it’s me again. can i please have a xiao in my life?

Another day passes by as he awaits your visit that he thinks to himself: How did I get into a situation such as this?
The adeptus couldn’t recall the exact moment he found himself thinking about you, having the thoughts of you plague his mind for days on end. All of which was especially so whenever you both parted only to reunite again at least days later or at most, months.
He missed the way you talked, smiled, and laughed even when he did none such things himself. The progression to this stage of your relationship was slow and steady but you both were patient, and the times in which you thought it wouldn’t work out, a human and adeptus, something always brought you back together. He noticed how you didn’t try to pry your way into his life and he appreciated that to be able to make the effort to return your, at the time, unsaid feelings.
Maybe it was because of how genuine you were with your actions that allowed him begin to take an interest in you. The way you made almond tofu just the way he loved it or how you would keep a bit of space between the two of you when you chatted.
He hoped you wouldn’t notice that he would try and close the gap little by little until the day came for him to ask you to officially be his. Well, you had noticed but for his sake you kept it to yourself, happy with the end result.
Xiao’s mind wanders to what had been and what it was like before he met you. Years alone and years of resentment towards himself and his actions hardened his walls to that foreign feeling. He hated you at that time not out of pure negative emotions but of confused emotions. You never pried and left him alone when it seemed that was what he wanted. But he never wanted that as seeing you turn your back and walk down the steps felt worse than having to see your face.
He thought about those times believing you wouldn’t come back one day just to leave him alone as he was.
He looks back at when you are finally together, the awkwardness of a new relationship finally dawning on the both of you as you say your acceptance to his confession. It is five months exact until he could look you in the eye without the feeling of butterflies pushing their way around his stomach, not that it still isn’t apparent now. He never asked if you felt the same but the flush on your face indicated as such.
He thinks about those times whenever you are away, replaying them in his mind like a broken record to keep the memories fresh. Every single one is important and to be able to remember it is something he will cherish. After all, all good things must come to an end.
And for this he hopes that the end is too far for him to see.
–
You can tell when he’s too lost in his thoughts again.
Verr Goldet informs you that he had shown up a while ago and had been unmoving from his spot since that time. You thank the woman, who at this point has lost all motivation to reprimand you from calling her “boss lady” again, and quietly walk up the steps.
When you reach the top a gentle breeze brushes by your face and your eyes land on the ethereal being that is him. His hair moves along with the wind and his eyes dart to your emerging figure, immediately taking action and walking towards you with urgency.
This visit would be one of the longer ones and you already booked a room for the next few nights, all for spending time with him as the mission you accepted was that lasted months.
He digs his fingers into your clothed back, welcoming you warmly into his embrace. Was it three months since he last held you like this?
Whatever the amount, Xiao holds you with just the same amount of gentle firmness. To bystanders they would be shocked at the display that this known adeptus exhibits to you and would think that he had been some other person. This is why he prefers to keep these moments only between the both of you away from prying eyes that might try to take advantage of one of his weaknesses.
Yes, you.
You hold him tightly and await his questioning, but it never comes. Instead, he trails his hand that was rested on your back to the back of your head and pulls away to look at you clearly. You shiver from the coolness of the night air and the intensity of his gaze when he eyes your lips.
“May I?” He asks in a whisper that could be so easily missed. You are able to collect yourself and nod, raising your own hand to lightly graze his cheek. "Forgive my hastiness.”
Xiao’s lips slot against yours and you hum at the feeling. His lips are smooth and soft and you melt when he splays his fingers of the other hand to hold you steady against him. He’s pressing you closer and closer and you wonder if there is physically any space left. His last statement rings out to you when you notice how restless his hands are and how needy his kisses have turned. Just what was he thinking about before I got here?
His lips detach from your when he remembers that you need to breath but his ministrations continue on to your neck, nipping at the exposed skin and leaving marks in the wake of his path. You gasp when he lands on a particular spot at the juncture of your neck and shoulders which causes you to push back a little out of reflex. His hands holding you prevent you from going any further from him and he continues to press alternating soft and messy kisses along the column of your throat.
Xiao trails his lips back to your own when you have caught your breath and he kisses you again, the initial contact a bit more aggressive than the first. But you don’t mind, your hands coming up to tangle in his hair to pull at lightly, eliciting a low groan from him.
You finally notice that you are up against a wall but in the haze of what just happened you aren’t surprised at how you got there. His hands are roaming your body without restraint and you have to remind him of where you two are.
He doesn’t look like he cares.
“No one comes up when they are aware of both of us being here,” he reassures you, whispering into your ear.
He kisses you again and again and again until you run out of breath just as many times and your legs are growing weary. Xiao plants a few last, soft kisses to your forehead, tip of the nose, and your lips before guiding you to sit on his lap as he positions himself on the ground. You take the offer without hesitation and snuggle into his hold, tired from the events of the day and the events just seconds ago.
You don’t have to ask him what’s going on when he cups your face and looks down at you with pure adoration in his eyes. He doesn’t need to tell you how much he cherishes you and cares about you, willing to do everything the archons allow him to keep you by his side.
You let him have his moment for a little longer but are able to tell that he had been holding himself back. You take your hand and curl it around his wrist, turning your head to press a kiss to his palm.
“You’re done already?”
Never have you seen him stand up with you hoisted in his arms as fast as he did to carry you to your room. You may be poking fun at him for his eagarness now, but you will soon see who’ll be most eager in a bit.
At least in this situation and for many more, he has you in his arms.

genshin boys as romance drama tropes
diluc: hot ceo of a company and you're his secretary who's getting bossed around all the time and you hate his guts but oh nooooo you get drunk and sleep with him!
kaeya: the rebellious shady sibling of the hot ceo and he's actually just very misunderstood. he pulls you out of work to have make out sessions in the storage room.
razor: misunderstood feral delinquent who pets puppies whenever he comes across one and he actually has a really cute smile but y'all just haven't seen it. he comes to save you when some disgusting pervert tried hitting on you.
venti: that friend in college who always crashes at your apartment and treats it like his own home. then he actually moves in to live with you. a very typical roommates to lovers drama. with a lot of beer. and drunken confessions.
zhongli: another hot ceo but this time you're poor and homeless so he offers you a job as a house caretaker in exchange for a room in his big ass mansion. but then you start to fall for him and- what? he has a fiancee abroad?? how come you didn't know that??? (rags to riches at its finest.)
childe: ENEMIES TO LOVERS FOR SURE. this mofo seems like he doesn't study at all but he tops the exams every single time. meanwhile, you're a very hardworking college student who studies 24/7 and you get second EVERY DAMN TIME. it's unfair. very unfair. he was out there partying on friday while you freaked over finals, how is he getting higher marks than you. it ends up as a one-sided rivalry and he wonders why you glare at him every time he waves hi at you. then one day at the library, he sees you struggling on a particular topic, and he offers to tutor you at his house. you think he's planning something bad but then you get to his house and- oh? he has younger siblings? and they're both cute??? and they're so fun to play with and they want to see you more????? and you get to see the nice brotherly side of him??? you start visiting his house regularly, BUT YOU SWEAR YOU VISIT FOR THE KIDS, NOT HIM, NO MA'AM- THAT LUNCH HE COOKED FOR YOU MIGHT BE THE TASTIEST THING YOU'VE EVER EATEN BUT YOU WON'T BE SWAYED- yeah ok you're making out on his couch now
xiao: the quiet kid in class everyone is scared of but all the girls are attracted to the 'mysterious' aspect to him. you don't really get the appeal until he offers to walk you home on a rainy day when you forget your umbrella, and buys you coffee when he notices you seem too sleepy in class, and then he brings you some medicine when you're sick and shares you his notes from the lectures you missed- ok FINE he's a lot nicer than he looks, but he's just a good friend, that doesn't mean you'll fall for him- ok shit he literally has the prettiest smile on earth AND YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT YOUR PERSONAL MISSION TO BRING A SMILE TO HIS FACE EVERYDAY-
albedo: that one smart guy in class you'd expect to have detailed notes but he refuses to lend them to anyone so no one really knows for sure. the reason? he actually has a crush on you and doodles your portrait in class on the same page with his notes whenever he feels bored and he doesn't want anyone to see them. one day, he conveniently drops his notebook in the hallway and you pick it up for him, but oh? what's this? is that a drawing of your... sleeping face?! you are beyond mortified and he freezes in place when he sees you with the notebook. no, you're not mortified ‘cause you're creeped out by the thought of him drawing you——you're only mortified because he stared at you while you unknowingly drooled on your desk. (you'd tell him you make a pretty damn horrible model and he should look for prettier people to draw, but he'd argue you're the prettiest person he knows.)
