Steam Giveaway - The Binding of Isaac + Wrath of the Lamb DLC

I’ve always wanted to do a giveaway but never had the means to do so. Because of certain Reddit threads + the tiny funds from the Steam Community Market, I’ve been collecting game keys for awhile now. Instead of hoarding them, I’ve decided to do small random giveaways here and there.

Really sad to hear today that famed Japanese illustrator, Noriyoshi Ohrai, passed today. I knew him from his incredible depictions of Godzilla through various movie posters, as well as his surprisingly large body of work centering around Metal Gear (Kojima is a big fan of his)

But he’s also responsible for numerous other Japanese promotional material for stuff like Star Wars, The Goonies, Mad Max, and lots of others. I think his work is comparable to that of Drew Struzen for his hyper realistic painterly style, while still maintaining a sense of fantasy and exaggeration. I have two posters I had printed out and framed of his work, (the Metal Gear and Godzilla one I’ve shown here) and I’m really sad to know I won’t get anymore artwork of his for the new Godzilla film Toho is putting out next year, among other things.

Will be sorely missed.

Maybe this is TOO personal, but do you have sublux issues during sex? If so, do you just deal with them after the fact? HALP.

That is an excellent question, Anon, which I am not qualified to answer because I’m just not into all of that sex stuff as of right now. However, I can give you some stuff that may help you out! 

This book is an excellent resource for all things Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and it does have a section about physical intimacy and some tips! Here is a nice, compressed list of what Tinkle suggests;

-Take the extra time required to plan intimacy during a time and place that works best for you.-Have an understanding partner. (I wholeheartedly agree with this! If you are having sex with someone that is not okay with you having to pop joints back into place every once in awhile, I’d suggest maybe trying to rethink this whole thing.)-Choose the time of day when you have the lowest pain level (morning, evening, afternoon, etc.)-Be sure to take any pain medications you have before participating in intercouse.-Arrange the respected area with pillows, blankets, etc. in order for you to be able to properly support your joints during the act.-Get creative with foreplay; try to participate in relaxing stuff such as a massage or a warm bath.

NOTE: Tinkle also writes that vaginal dryness can be caused by EDS and, if this is the case, then he recommends plenty of lubricant. 

I’ve seen several posts about how EDS can cause awkwardness during sex and that’s okay! I’d imagine all sexual EDSers deal with that. However, go out and find a partner that understands your illness, loves you, and accepts you despite it. If you’re doing the do with the right one, then it’ll all work out!
