Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Gloss

Hello sweet mija!

This is my very first blog post and I thought I’d start it off with something I bought over the past weekend. L I P G L O S S~

I have never truly been a fan of lip gloss if I’m going to be completely honest. I think I always had bad experiences (i.e. wind + hair or the beloved crust that lines up my inner mouth). So what exactly urged me to buy this lip gloss? One word, 7 letters. GLITTER!

I have been on this crazy hunt for opal lip gloss. Something iridescent, but not chunky, almost metallic. When I saw that my mom had this I had to try it.

In certain lights the lip gloss itself tends to have a green tint but when looking directly at it, it is white/clear. The sparkles are definitely purple with some hues of blue. 

The applicator is doe foot and fairly typical in size if not maybe a tad smaller than normal. This lip gloss applies so smooth, if you are familiar with the baby lips chapstick it has a very similiar texture on the lips. It smooths out your lip lines and allows for a soft pouty look. 

Taste/Smell: If you have ever tried those lychee jellos from an asian supermarket you will instinatly know what I am talking about. THIS SMELLS EXACTLY LIKE THAT! I’m not complaining, but I will say the smell does linger. If you were to puck your lips you an smell it through out the day. The taste is exactly how it smells. Not bitter whatsoever, very sweet.

Longevity: I would say it wears the same as most lip gloss. But the feeling of moisture still lingers on your lips even after its wore off. The glitter is not chunky so it does not feel gritty on the lips, When you first apply the gloss it does look larger the sparkles but as it wears it turns more into a metallic purple finish, very faint though. 

I do actually like this lip gloss very much. It is so pretty whether on its own or layered on top of different colors. It is very moisturizing and I like the smell. I bought mine from Walmart for $3.89 the color i have pictured is Just A Glimmer.
