Hey *hand on shoulder* you know that Greece, along with most of the balkan countries, has been under ottoman turkish rule for more than 400 years? You know that Greece today has many economic problems today, despite it's history being rich?

You know that Greece is very prone to forest fires and natural disasters?

Also, do you know that Greece, along with Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Montenegro... They are all protesting against corruption, and no one talked about it.

You talk about wanting to have temples to worship in modern day, but you don't care about the land that those temples would be built on?

Greece may be an Orthodox Christian country. But trust me, the gods are still very much living there. Their spirit is still there. Poseidon is still ruling the waves, Zeus is still watching over in the sky, Demeter is taking care of the crops.

All i am asking is... Spread awareness. I am saying this on behalf of my greek friend, firstly, who has complained to me about their issues not being heard. LEARN HISTORY. STUDY CURRENT WORLD EVENTS. SEND LOVE TO THE LAND OF GREECE, WHO HAS ENDURED GREAT HARDSHIPS.

(I find it so interesting that your kids who are born in animal form are so extraordinary. Zeus’s kids who he fathered while in animal form always turn out human which is a little bit of a let down. Why couldn’t Helen and Pollux be born birds? Also, I’m surprised you haven’t sired a unicorn already.)

[OOC: I personally like to headcanon it/portray it as a byproduct of the fact that Poseidon isn't truly connected to, or as connected to his human form as Zeus is, or even Hades (think of it just as the gender spectrum, where some people are just more connected to their bases, such as their biological gender, while others simple just Aren't /gen. And Zeus is a lot more connected to his human form--I often "see" him as a half-animal or with animal features rather than the full thing because of this--due to his connection as the King of the Gods and also the King of Everything (which, in our natural perceptions, mostly encompasses humans and then animals and such as a secondary thing. No hate, just my analysis of the human brain and it's imaginations)--while Poseidon is the god of the Oceans, who's domain is not only not directly connected to humans or any human-based concepts [such as wine, with Dionysus, or mail, with Hermes, which are concepts that exist among the other systems, but the specific systems of it are very human-refined, and so the concepts identified with those words are more known as human rather than universal :)], but entirely made up of non-humans, and so, with how the gods are being kept alive entirely through the concepts of their domains, Poseidon isn't truly connected to his human or a human form, leading to all of his conceptions to be more... ambiguous due to his nature being non-human. Honestly just a head canon, but as someone who's obsessed with genetics and immortality... I find it to be super cool :)). Sorry for hijacking ur ask op tho :(((]
