i 100% support everything bex has said on the matter, and despite the circumstances, i’m glad that it came to light. i have nothing else to say. i’m just devastated that such nasty people exist and that they decided our inbox was the right outlet for their toxicity.

we didn’t even want to say anything about all the hate but honestly people just need to stop. sorry for the rant.

if you wanted fo write so bad you shouldn't have let an overhyped rp die after a week by abandoning it

this message is fucking wild to me. this is fucking wild. 

you know what? we were getting harassment before we even OPENED. we were getting people ragging on us for writing characters in a ship. we were getting dragged on for having such an active talk tag. everything we did was met with backlash. j & i cried over our decisions. we talked for hours over our decisions. and you know what? despite having ill feelings before starting our rp, we kept going. we posted acceptances. and immediately afterwards, we had someone come into our inbox and say that we were the reason they were feeling suicidal. we were the reason people were never going to write again. we were the reason people’s hopes and dreams were dash. those messages were fucking devastating to us. everything we did made us feel bad. we couldn’t go one day without getting hate in our inbox. every day after acceptances, we got negative messages. our MEMBERS were getting negative messages. they did nothing but apply like the rest of you. they were told they got their characters because of their characters’ genders, which is NOT TRUE. they were told they didn’t deserve their characters. frankly, their apps went above and beyond the standard of apps in the thieves inbox, and were on another fucking level. every one we accepted deserved it. but j & i felt so bad. we viewed the hate as our fault. and you know what? we couldn’t do anything to stop it. we couldn’t stop it. and that felt terrible. j & i made a beautiful rp. we were so excited. we did the best we could but the rpc’s toxicity killed it.

so thank you very much, but fuck off. i don’t say that lightly. i hate saying that at all. but this is the sort of behavior that killed thieves, not j or myself.
