I'm back!

I went ahead and reactivated the Etsy shop. I had to remake this blog from scratch, so apologies for the new blog smell.

I'm hoping to get a small shop drop up and running by the end of the month. I think I am going to focus on the things I want to focus on and not worry to much about how to grow and expand and all that nonsense.

I stil want this shop to be something, but I don't want it to be my entire life. I cannot handle that lmao.

Anyway, both this blog and etsy.com/shop/dndapothecary are back up. The shop is still in vacation mode until I get new products made.

DnD Apothecary is closing down

I do not know how to write this, so I suppose I will just make it short and brief.

I believe that DnD Apothecary has run its course. I am no longer interested in running, making, or maintaining the shop in any fashion. I've had a wonderful seven years running the shop, and I would say that it was successful - it survived a pandemic, I've sold over 19,500 items, and my average rating was a 5.0, out of 3,065 reviews.

I could not be more proud of the work I have done, and I am forever grateful to the people who supported my work and enjoyed it.

So - what does it mean for this blog and what's next for me?

The blog will stay up. I love TTRPGs so much, they are a staple in my life and I love sharing that stuff, spreading awareness of small businesses, and spreading the joy of TTRPGs.

As for me, well, I am going to find a new career. I found something that is exciting for me to learn about, and am in the process of gathering new skills and information to acquire a job in my chosen career path.

In the meantime, if you would like to keep in touch, I do have a twitch channel that I stream on, at least twice a week, as well as a tumblr for that twitch account - @its-knifewife - which will be updated more frequently as I stream more.

Unsolicited Mom/Grandma advice on weekend plans.

My dear young tumbles,

It's fine if your weekend plans are to lay around in bed ,binge watching garbage shows or playing video games.

Maybe you want to order in cheap unhealthy fast food and eat leftovers for breakfast under the covers in your jammies. It's fine! It's good for you to do that now and then. It's great to look forward to it.

Be a sloth if you want to this weekend with no shame. Get that stupid to do list out of your head along with the I should and I ought to thoughts. You can do all those chores and adult crappy type things Monday.

That's what I'll be doing. I got a big old family-size box of Honeycombs cereal that I'm gonna eat like popcorn and a greasy can of corn beef hash I'll heat up and have over toast. All while binge-watching Fallout, The Last of Us, and maybe House of Dragons. Perhaps the Gilded Age for sleepy time and rewatch Bridgerton before season 3 drops.
