Silver hair-ornament from Oman, 1950s

Silver heart-shaped hair ornament (halqa) with crescent danglers and jingling silver chains. The cut-out center forms a palm tree with chased decoration, set with a red glass seal inscribed with the name Muhammad, referring to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
