My wife Barbara and I are on a 2 week visit to Asili Coffee Estates in Kenya where I have the privilege to serve as our Exec Chair. Yesterday I went to the annual Summer Solstace at Stonehenge with my daughter Tigris. An incredible night of love ❤️ and celebration. This lady recognised Tiggy as she had stopped her car to give her water and food as she walked alone, exhausted. Wonderful 🫠🤗

THE PATIENT INVESTOR: THE INTANGIBLE VALUE OF ART. Sometimes artists have to wait years … for my daughter #Acidtrip32 case, 15+ years to find the value. Painting alone, in total darkness, in the cold, #hearingvoices, declining to sell. Discovery is a magical process. Now, picked up by international #art curators, reported by all national press in China and HK, bought by UHNWI and Beijing gallery owners. Previous lot in the auction sold for US$698,000 … then hers sold. It’s been 3 days … not once has she asked for how much? Money has no value to the true artist, the feelings it creates in the viewer is intangible but not immeasurable, and yet we insist in valuing art through the $ and not the impact it creates in our hearts
